Our Beautiful Modern 1 bedroom apartment is on the beach, 10 minutes drive from Cape Town city center. Originally part of a hotel so it comes with all the necessities for a comfortable stay but with a personal touch. Our beach is midway between Cape town center and Bloubergstrand. An amazing spot for surfing and long beach walks, the perfect holiday destination Features include: -Stacking doors that open up whole apartment to a magnificent ocean view -Full kitchen with stove and oven -Coffee lovers have the choice of a Nespresso machine with various coffee pods -The main bedroom has a ceiling fan for hot summer nights -Large bathroom with bath & shower -2 swimming pools with loungers in complex -provided with flat: rusks, cereal, milk, coffee, tea) -Super secure -Safe parking -Full laundry (communal) Our apartment is on the first floor up a little flight of stairs. Guests can access the laundry, surrounding garden and pool area. Parking is situated behind a boomed entrance with security. Visitor parking available. Noteworthy things in the area: -Leisure Bay Restaurant: The Leisure Bay Hotel has a small restaurant/ bar downstairs from our apartment for a standard breakfast with bottomless filter coffee. The service is very slow, so we only recommend it if you’re in no rush. Currently closed during Covid. -Lagoon beach hotel Restaurant (3min walk): also an option for a breakfast/ lunch. The service is also very slow, so we only recommend it if you’re in no rush. -Wang Thai restaurant is walking distance from flat. Variety of Thai food. They also have delicious Deluxe coffee and great lunch wraps and toasties -Blowfish Restaurant: excellent sushi and fish dishes with a view over Dolphin Beach blo (Website hidden by Airbnb) -Centre point shopping centre (2km) has a Pick n Pay, liquor store and a Clicks Pharmacy -The Paddocks shopping centre (4.5km) has a Woolies, Spar, clicks, Ocean basket and Simply Asia, Black Angus grill, Col’cacchio pizza -The Table Bay Nature Reserve consists of seven parts: Rietvlei Wetlands, Milnerton Lagoon, Milnerton Beach, Milnerton Racecourse, Zoarvlei Wetlands, Diep River, and the Parklands Fynbos Corridor.This 880-hectare reserve comprises a variety of permanent and seasonal wetlands, and is surrounded by Cape Flats dune strandveld and Cape Flats sand fynbos vegetation.The Rietvlei Wetland is in the floodplain of the Diep River between Milnerton and Table View that drains into Table Bay via the Milnerton Lagoon. The wetland offers a variety of habitats, including a permanent freshwater lake, shallow marshes that flood in winter, reed beds, a river, and an estuarine lagoon with salt marshes that is open to the sea. A strip of coastal dunes separates the reserve from Table Bay. Meet at the Milnerton Lighthouse 10am MyCiti bus stop in Marine Drive which has a bus directly to the city Centre. Uber works well in and around Cape Town
