The lakeside with numerous places to swim or have a drink and Kusnacht town with a number of good restaurants and shops is an 8min walk or 3min busride from our house Our flat is in a small, private and well maintained condominium area with private parking and spacious grounds in an elevated, quiet part of Küsnach above the lake and away from any main roads or trains. The flat is very bright throughout with all main rooms facing the terrace and private garden - large main double bedroom with balcony doors facing the terrace (electric blackout shutters) - second, bright double bedroom (blackout shutters) - additional 3rd childrens bedroom (with baby bed) + private home office with desk facing the garden - 1 bathroom with shower/bathtub - 2nd bathroom with power shower - fully equipped kitchen with full Miele appliances including both a steam and conventional oven. All kitchen amenities - open plan living room facing the terrace and garden - open dining area with table seating for 6 guests - summer dining area on the terrace with gas BBQ - sunny all day from morning to sunset - private garden - washing/ironing room in the mezzanine basement floor downstairs with washer/dryer and plenty of storage space -1 onsite parking space available for guests in front of the house Guests will have access to the entire home during their stay. Küsnacht is generally considered to be the most upscale and exclusive town to live in Zurich, mainly due to it's privileged location on the sunny side of the lake and very close proximity to the town center. It's a beautiful historic area with wonderful parks, nature walks and a nice, small local town with some excellent food shops, bakeries and lovely restaurants from places serving simple Swiss cuisine to a 2 michelin star gastronomic restaurant called Rico's! Just next to our house you find another small lake for nice walks or runs, and a beautiful wooded protected park where you can walk/hike for hours along the lake on the "Pfannenstiel". We are happy to offer you plenty of little tips for your stay - walks/shops/restaurants/grocery stores to our favorite swimming places on the lake here in Küsnacht - Our home is located 10 mins walk from Kusnacht train station and the town. There are trains departing every 15min into central Zurich (5min to central station Zurich HB), or along the lake - The lake with numerous places to swim are a 10min walk from our house. - We have a bus stop located 1 min from the house with frequent buses taking you down to Kuesnacht or directly into central Zurich (15min busride) - We offer our guests one parking spot right in front of the house in our drive way
