Gorgeous large three bedroom cottage on a small working farm inside Bristol. Private gardens and hot tub. Offering the best of city and country life. Amazing location just a £10 uber ride into the centre of Bristol. Uniquely positioned with fantastic and easy driving into Bristol as well as stunning views of the city from the farmland. Looking to Ashton Court and the suspension Bridge. Fab for balloon fiesta. Excellent position to Bristol airport as well as Ashton Gate stadium. Detached and fully modernised cottage, low doorways but thankfully high ceilings. We have three bedrooms two doubles and a master bedroom with large ensuite. The sofa bed is on the open landing. Each bedroom has a smart tv. We use great quality John Lewis sheets and pillowcases. There is a large bathroom with huge walk in shower. His and her basins. Downstairs is a large but cosy living room with wood burner and large L shaped sofa. The kitchen is very newly renovated and has two electric fan cookers as well as a steam oven and microwave. We have a fully equipped kitchen including delongi coffee maker and five burner hob. We have a huge fridge freezer with filtered water and ice maker. The garden is just lovely and has a decked seating area as well as separate area with a large dining table for 8, perfect for al fresco dining. The hot tub is a luxurious addition to add the extra bit of fun into your getaway. You can enjoy the garden late into the evening as we are your only neighbours. We have 28 acres and a small herd of cattle,rare breed pigs, free range hens as well as a couple of horses and sheep. It really is an idyllic place. We have stunning views from the house and farm land as well as wonderful walks and cycle paths. You can enjoy a full country getaway but dash into town to go clubbing or the theatre within 10 mins. Please do not wander into the yard or the barns without us knowing. No dogs upstairs! We are happy to be as interactive as you wish. We appreciate some guests want to be left alone and We are more than happy to be hands off. If guests would like more assistance and guidance we are also more than happy to help. We always love meeting new friends. Yew Tree Farm is the very last traditional working farm in Bristol. Originally it was part of the Smythe estate from Ashton Court and was a diary farm until the 1950's. We keep a small herd of cattle in a sustainable and eco friendly way. We love living here, it is quiet, charming and peaceful. We are 3 miles from the centre of Bristol which takes only 10 mins off peak time by car or taxi. The A2 airport bus or the A1 bus stops close by which runs from the Airport into town 24 7. Long Ashton park and ride is less than 7 mins away and straight down the South Bristol link road. The cottage is very accessible to Bristol by bicycle with good safe purpose built routes. We do have our own dog who is very friendly. She will be outside when I am, but unlikely to bother you. We also have free range hens who will wander into the garden from time to time. We are an organic farm with cattle and rare breed Welsh pigs who have paddocks to enjoy. We encourage wildlife and farm in a regenerative way; we have a lot of birds around the farm so expect to hear a lot of birdsong!
