This comfy cabin is great for a visit to Lake County, a quiet personal retreat, or a well deserved romantic getaway. Turn off from the busy city life. Come for an outdoor adventure or stay in for a quiet and private escape. Sit on the private deck and let the old growth fir wrap you in deep contemplation. Enjoy it's magnificence. There is NO WiFi here. ATT and Verizon personal hot spots work well. We do not accept pets. If you need to bring a pet you must contact the host prior to booking. The cabin is: beautiful, quiet and private; a great artist retreat, getaway, or a place to relax away from the distractions of home. The cabin is carpeted in the living room and bedroom with oak floors in the entry, kitchen, and dining areas. We have an efficient heater, energy efficient windows, and you are surrounded by trees. The bed is quite comfortable and the TV is in the bedroom. The television has a built-in DVD player, there’s no cable and there is no internet connection but both AT&T and Verizon are serviced in the area. We have a well equipped kitchen for eating in or eat out at a local restaurant, where there is outdoor dining. Note: You are required to pay a 10.5% Transient Occupancy Tax which we have included in our nightly fee. We pay this to our county tax collector. You will have the entire cabin to yourselves. I will send the lockbox combo the day of your arrival and you will self check-in. Be sure you have the combo with you when you arrive. The cabin is primarily for 1-2 people. Specify the number of guest when you book, extra guests, up to two, are an additional $30. each/night. Please drive carefully. I will send my number and the lockbox combo the day of your arrival. Please send a text with your eta and arrival so we can check in. I will be available by text and will promptly respond to your needs. The neighborhood is in the forest, quiet and pretty. It is a short walk to downtown Cobb where there is a post office, gas station, grocery store, coffee shop, and pizza shop. We have sweet clean spring water. A few miles west there is a golf course, at Adams Springs. They have a restaurant with outdoor seating. There is a bus from Middletown to Cobb and from the bus a short walk to the cabin, in the event you don't drive. In the case you cycle, we are in a county bursting with great trails for off road and the highways are bike friendly; if you are a professional or avid rider. There is no internet or wifi the cabin. If you have ATT or Verizon you will have service. If you need to be working online be prepared with your own personal hot spot or other service. There are no streetlights. There is room for one vehicle and must be parked to allow the neighbor a parking spot. Parking is right out front across the country road and not covered. If you are arriving after dark you will need a flashlight. Be prepared. The water is amazing, sweet, and fresh from the spring. There is no smoking, no candles nor bbq. Bring along warm socks or slippers for indoors.
