Welcome to The Victorian Barn Countryside Holiday Complex! Our 14 self-catering accommodations boast beautiful barn conversions, cottages and lodges nestled in the heart of wonderful Dorset. Perfect for any occasion, from mini-breaks, to family holidays, within easy drive of the historic Jurassic Coast. Leisure facilities include an indoor heated pool with daily private hire sessions, private hot tubs, games room, activity suite, fishing lakes and an outdoor play area. Plus unlimited WiFi. Amazing family friendly apartment. Ashwood is a sleek, contemporary attached ground floor apartment converted in 2020 from Victorian farm buildings. The accommodation boasts spacious en suite bedrooms with the option of king beds or twin beds, fitted wardrobes, dressing tables and bedside tables. There is also superb underfloor heating throughout. The main living space has a relaxed feel and is open plan with a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher. There is a family dining area with comfortable leather chairs and in the lounge area there are leather sofas and a 50" SMART TV. The accommodation boasts amazing views towards open countryside. There is a patio door leading onto the sunny patio which also has a outside private hot tub for your sole use and enjoyment! Also perfect for dining Al Fresco with the family. Important Note: We do not accept Stag Parties at any time. We will accept well behaved Hen Parties but not during school or bank holidays. During school & bank holidays we do not accept ‘all adult’ parties/groups (for example birthday parties etc.) The minimum age of all members of ‘all adult’ parties/groups must be 30 or over. PARKING General parking area for all residents by the pool. There is also one parking space outside the cottage. There is an EV Charger in the parking area. HOT TUB - 8 am - 11 pm - please bring your own towels. The hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled after every stay so it may not be at the required temperature when you first arrive. The hot tub will not be available to use on your departure day. POOL - please bring your own towels. Guests can book a one hour per day private session (not shared with anyone else) via our calendar link. The link is sent a few days before your stay upon completion of our digital registration form. On Fridays (only) we offer a communal swim session from 4 pm - 8 pm. The pool cannot be booked on your arrival day. The pool is not available on departure day. GAMES ROOM - 8 am - 10 pm Booking not required. Coin operated Pool Table, Football Table & Quiz Machine - 50p. Free to use board games and books. ACTIVITY SUITE - 8 am - 10 pm Booking not required. You may wish to bring your own rackets for Badminton & Table Tennis (limited stocks are provided) OUTDOOR PLAY AREA For children FISHING LAKES 3 lakes - please use the marked swims provided. LAUNDRY ROOM Washing machine and tumble dryer in a separate building - free to use. Open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 8 am - 12 mid day. We offer a contactless check in & contactless stay. There is a fantastic Pub within 1 mile and Restaurants within 4 miles. 30 minutes to the Jurassic Coast. Very rural location so a car is essential. There is ample onsite free parking. Please enquire. *Please bring your own towels for the cottage and for the pool as these are not provided* We provide a starter pack with washing up liquid, cloth and bin liners plus toilet rolls and hand soap. We also provide a welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits so you can settle in with a nice cuppa upon arrival. For additional supplies you may like to visit our local shop in Hazelbury Bryan. The Victorian Barn is ‘away from it all’ and ‘in the sticks’, ‘a destination’ with beautiful countryside, clean air and accessed via single track roads, no pavements, no street lights, it’s a real adventure!
