Set in a quaint Cornish village, step right out into the breathtaking countryside and take in the old world charm and character of this beautiful place. Right in the heart of the village all the amenities are on your doorstep, Local pub, farm shop, village shop, 3 takeaways, petrol station/post office and centrally located for easy access to the A30 and anywhere in Cornwall. Mowhay is a newly renovated older building with period features such as beamed ceilings and stone walls. It has a open plan layout, added modern comforts include underfloor heating, fitted appliances and modern bathroom. There is a small patio area and boot/utility room leading to your own access. The interior has a fresh clean cottage look and is cosy and warm, it is tucked away in a quiet position close to the church. The property is self check-in, it is accessed down a private lane behind the Main Street. The main door leads you through into the boot/utility room where you can store coats, shoes, suitcases ect if you wish, this then leads you to the patio area, then on to the private entrance to the guest house. The property is self contained but we live close by, we can easily be contacted by phone or email to deal with any questions you may have. In the heart of the village close to the amenities it is bustling with mainly local people going about there daily business or out walking their dogs, people are friendly and you will find they often stop to chat. Going to the outskirts you will find countryside and farmland all around you to explore. If you would like to socialise or something to eat there is a local pub as well as 3 takeaways, farm shop, petrol station/shop/post office and a spar shop. The church has the tallest tower in Cornwall (after Truro cathedral) and is steeped in history, there are many old cottages and interesting architecture. Probus is situated in central Cornwall and not far from the wonderful small city of Truro where there are several park and ride services, train and bus stations. Locally there is a reliable bus and taxi service. Free parking can be found on the road close by the property.
