This farm-stay, a comfortable haven, ideal for couples, offers an opportunity to relax & enjoy our organic smallholding & the surrounding beautiful countryside, with views of Mount Arthur. A rural retreat in a purpose built barn annex added to an Edwardian NZ villa and is now converted to a spacious and comfortable guest accommodation. One's own private entrance, upstairs a romantic, spacious bedroom room with a Juliette balcony with a view of the surrounding countryside, an en-suite bathroom with shower, downstairs a private kitchen/breakfast room from which you can enjoy a private deck overlooking the garden. There is another deck where you can enjoy drinks and BBQ (gas) in the evening sun. You have access to all the gardens generally, the farmlet and it's animals. A basket of breakfast ingredients is provided and there is a kitchen/dining room for your exclusive use that opens onto a deck. Another deck has a gas BBQ. Ideal for couples, however, up to 1 child welcome to stay free in room with adults. Extra bedding provided by prior arrangement for a small linen charge only. We welcome the opportunity to answer any queries you may have and offer any assistance we may be able to provide There is so much to do! You are spoilt for choice around here. The great outdoors beckons with climbing, walking or cycling our Great Taste Trail nearby or the many other local mountain bike trails, yachting, canyoning, paddle boarding and kayaking in the river or the sea. The perfect place to relax after a day on the river fly-casting. Sky diving is 25 minutes away. Don’t forget our local artists, potters, craft markets and vineyards. It's a 20 minute picturesque drive to Motueka on the Motueka Valley Highway and 35 minute scenic drive to Marahau along the Motueka River West Bank Road. Abel Tasman, New Zealand’s smallest National Park, 40 minutes away, is probably our most famous landmark and one you will no doubt be visiting. Kahaurangi, situated close by, is the country’s newest National Park. It has rugged beauty and alpine scenery to match anywhere in the world. Another Treasure is Nelson Lakes National Park a little further afield. We are close to the Motueka River renowned both for trout fishing and it's swimming holes and the West Bank section of The Tasman Great Taste Cycling Trail.
