Birdwood Retreat - *Light & Airy 2 Bdrm Suite*

Our light, airy & spacious 2bedroom guest suite is located close to the beautiful Swan River & Fremantle. In the peaceful & leafy suburb of Bicton, this newly renovated upper-level guest suite is sure to provide a relaxing stay. A short walk to the bus stop to access Fremantle or Perth, there are also plenty of lovely cafes & restaurants close by. Enjoy scenic walks along the river, you are only 5-10mins from Blackwall Reach, Pt Walter, The Left Bank, Zephyrs cafe, Dome cafe & Swan Yacht Club The guest suite is located on the upper level of our two storey home & has two generous sized bedrooms, plus separate living area with a lounge & TV. Both bedrooms have built in robes with ample hanging space and drawers. The King bedroom (or option to split into 2 single beds) has French doors opening on to a balcony with table & chairs, overlooking the park. Enjoy sunset drinks in the evening, or wake up with the birds & have breakfast with a view. In the Queen Bedroom you can enjoy reading a book or drinking your morning coffee on the window seat. *Please advise upon booking which bedding configuration you require* There is a bathroom with newly renovated shower & adjacent is a separate toilet/washroom. Across from the living area you'll find a breakfast bench with two bar stools which looks out to the park. The breakfast bench is equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster & Nespresso Coffee machine and we will provide some coffee pods, tea bags, sugar & milk for your stay, plus cutlery & crockery. *Please note there are no kitchen or cooking facilities* We have a small collection of board games and a library of books you are most welcome to use, along with complimentary WiFi & Netflix. All linen and bath towels are supplied. The guest suite is located on the top floor, with access via your own door at the side of the house. There is a digital lock box in which you'll be sent a code to access the key. There is room for two cars to be parked in the driveway, or alternatively a car plus caravan or boat. This house is in a well established leafy neighourhood with an abundance of parks and lovely walking trails around the river. Interaction with guests - My parents, Madeleine & Steve are a retired couple living on the bottom floor of this family home. Your privacy will be respected, however they are certainly available should you have any questions during your stay.
