A perfect escape to the country, your very own tranquil homestead set on 50 acres nestled on a hill with breathtaking views of the scenic rim mountains. In just over an hour from Brisbane you can be relaxing on the deck enjoying a glass of wine from one of the nearby wineries, sitting around the fire place or toasting marshmallows in the fire pit. The homestead is only a 7 minute drive to Boonah township and on the same road and only a 3 minute drive to Kooroomba Vineyard & Lavender Farm. The stunning entrance way warmly welcomes you into the newly renovated open plan fully equipped kitchen and air conditioned living area. Lounge around the open fire place, or sit outside on the deck and enjoy the magnificent sunsets and local wild life. All 3 bedrooms have reverse cycle air conditioners with quality linen and towels. 1 of the 2 king bedrooms has a king single bed and king single trundle perfect for a family 2 adults and 2 children and there is also a 3rd queen bedroom. There is a large central bathroom with claw foot bath, double sink and rain head shower along with a separate powder room and second toilet. An outside fire pit completes the entertaining area where you can also enjoy a swim in the pool with pool towels provided for your stay. There is NBN Wifi, 2 smart TV's, Blue tooth speaker and Nespresso coffee machine. Boonabaroo has been in the same family for 4 generations and has been lovingly restored by the great grandchildren. She started life as the original farm house which was moved from the flats of the property up to where she stands now to capitalize the amazing vistas. The original matriarch of the family named her Boona-ba-roo, Boona after the township Boonah, ba after the first 2 letters of their surname and roo for all the kangaroos that happily live on the property. Guests will have full private access to the whole house. There is undercover parking for around 3 cars in the big shed just to the right of the house. There is a locked store room near the house that guests are UNABLE to access. You will have full privacy but if you have any questions during your stay or of an emergency relating to the property arises please don't hesitate to contact Verity through the Airbnb app. The homestead is located on a quiet road in the beautiful Scenic Rim 7 minute drive to Boonah, 3 minute drive to Kooroomba Vineyard and Lavender Farm, 15 minute drive to Lake Moogerah, 20 minute drive to Maroon Dam. You will need a car or motor bike to get to all the stunning locations around the Scenic Rim. As you are staying at a rural property there is a septic waste system, tank water and grease trap. Please do not flush any sanitary items down the toilet, be mindful of water consumption by remembering to run off the taps, and please no fat or food scraps to go down the drains.
