Altitude 1400 - Room with a View

Cosy apartment in quiet leafy location. On rising, brew a coffee/tea decide what to do with the day. Summer-hiking to the top of Australia or a stroll along the river, mountain biking take it easy or make it hard. Explore the village and a leisurely long lunch. Winter-skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing just enjoying the ski village vibe. In the evenings wander to the village for a drink and a meal strolling home under a sky of a million stars. Please read ALL information below before enquiring. **WINTER - JULY & AUGUST 7 night stays, Check In/Ceck Out SATURDAYS ONLY. No parking at the property but dropping luggage out the front is not a problem. Overnight parking is available about a 7 minute walk away. Lock up your car for the weekend and take a break from driving. Altitude 1400 is on the third floor so a few stairs to climb, breathe deep and appreciate that mountain air. Once there just sit back relax and enjoy the view. A queen bed and a sofa bed is available. The 'Juliette' Balcony gives an open and airy feel to the space. Bathroom is equipped with heat lamps and heated towel rail. A washer and dryer if you really need to do those domestic chores. If you feel like a night in there is a full kitchen with everything you need to prepare a meal after a day hiking, biking, skiing or boarding in the mountains. All linen is supplied for the beds, towels, facewashers and pool towels (if you feel like a few laps at the leisure centre). There is shampoo, bodywash and a hair dryer supplied in the bathroom to help you cut down on your luggage. In the kitchen there is salt, pepper and olive oil to get your started. If you would like a few basic supplies delivered for your stay message me and I can arrange this for you. **WINTER ONLY** A ski bus stop is located directly opposite the building, so easy access to the ski slopes. The bus will drop you at Friday Flat so you can be on the Gun Barrell Express and up the mountain without too much fuss. Jump off the lift and cross the road and the bus will bring you back home. Access is with a key safe located outside the front door. I live locally and contactable if you require any assistance. Thredbo is a great place to either spend a relaxing weekend with easy walking trails along the river or take on a more strenuous challenge and conquer Mt. Kosciousko. There is golf, tennis and frisbee golf in the village as well as the leisure centre with gym and 50m pool. Why not try mountain biking on one of the many trails. Altitude 1400 is located less than 10mins walk to the village shops and restaurants. Easy walk to the Leisure centre and overnight carpark and good exercise on the way back. When sending a reservation request please note the guests included in the booking ie. 2 adults partners/friends, 1 adult & 1 child/teenager for bedding requirements. Properties in Thredbo have restrictions on the number of guests in properties so please honest when booking :). Also please include Postcodes of all guests. Be aware of my cancellation policy. In the case of LGA's being locked down for COVID reasons I will refund my allocation of your payment.
