Your Place (Independent apartment)

Your Place accommodation is situated in Gueifães - Maia, 8 km from the airport and from Porto downtown. It has two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom, (total of 75 m2), and garage. It is located in a quiet area, with direct transport to Porto downtown (bus stop 150m away). Breakfast snacks are provided on the first day. In the neighborhood, you will find supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, and laundries. The location of the apartment allows you easy access to other cities in the North. It is our intention to provide a cozy place that makes you feel at home. The rooms have cabinets that allow a convenient storage of your luggage. The living room has TV and free WI-FI, here there is a table that can be used for meals as well as a desk. In the kitchen, you can use the fridge, microwave, toaster, an electric water boiler, and a gas cooker. There are utensils for your meals. Snacks for ONE day breakfast and individual tea/coffee sachets for the other days will be provided. The apartment has two independent entrances, one in the front of the house and the other in the back. These entrances give access to two balconies. There is free parking outside but you can use the individual garage located at the rear of the building. In addition to what is specified in this announcement, guests will be provided with an information brochure indicating basic aspects of the accommodation. A map with the main facilities and points of interest in the neighborhood will also be provided. We remind you that it is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the house, but smoking is allowed in the back outside porch. All guests are welcome. We appreciate being in contact with people from different countries and from different cultures diversity. The host will be present at the check-in and check-out. If this presence is not possible, the name of the person who will be present at these two moments will be indicated. Email and cell phone will be available 24 hours a day. Besides the Portuguese language, we speak fluently English, and we understand Spanish and French. The accommodation is located in the municipality of Maia bordering the municipality of Matosinhos. It is a quiet neighborhood, offering a landscape that blends urban and rural features. Different facilities are available in walking distance: supermarkets, restaurants and take-away, pharmacies and laundries. There are some places of historical interest. Other places reflect the rural culture of the area. We can highlight the Monastery of Leça do Balio, which can be visited by walking (approx 15 minutes). In this Monastery, on the second weekend of September, a medieval fair is held. At 200m from the accommodation, there is the Chapel of Sant'Ana, this Chapel is surrounded by a huge wooded area. In this place, the traditional Feira de Santana is held every Fridays. Here you can find all kind of products. In Gueifães, you will find the Chapel of Our Lady Health, in honor of Whom the festivities take place two weeks after Easter. In Milheirós you can walk along streets that clearly recall the ancient environment of the region.ransportation to the accommodation is of the responsibility of the guests. To get to Porto downtown you can use direct public transport (bus nº 600) with frequent times throughout the day. The accommodation has easy access (without the stress of the exit and entrance of a big city) to the main highways to drive to cities like Guimarães, Braga, Viana do Castelo.
