La Petite Maison at Auvergne Naturelle

Beautifully renovated cottage in the Livradois National Park in the undiscovered Auvergne region of France. A cosy cottage which has been recently renovated to a high standard whilst retaining its original charm. There are beautiful views of the valley and you are situated amongst a woodland so can hear the owls at nights and spot deer during the day. The cottage is an addition to our small luxury yurt campsite, Auvergne Naturelle which includes 4 yurts nestled amongst the hill at the back of the cottage. The cottage is adjoined to the main barn which is a communal area for camp site guests. Guests have the option during the summer, to take part in bush craft courses and sit around the camp fire and dine with the other guests. We also have a breakfast and dinner option from end May to end September. However, the cottage is still private enough if you prefer to be more secluded. We also have a natural swimming pool which accessible all year round which is fenced and gated. It is shared by the cottage and the campsite. Exclusive to the cottage is the use of the wood fired nordic hot tub. There is a small charge of 15 € for wood to heat the hot tub. Guests have access to the whole cottage and also during the summer months to the campsite area, including the communal camp fire each night. We live in the main house next to the cottage so we are always here to help and offer advice on the area. The cottage is situated 20 acres of woodland with great walks and biking on your doorstep. The small river at the bottom of our meadow is great for cooling off during the summer months and for the more adventurous, river walks! Parking is available next to the cottage. A car is recommended as the location is remote. Covid 19 Information: We are aware want you to know that we’re doing our part to help our guests stay safe in our cottage this summer by following the procedures below: We always thoroughly clean the cottage after each stay. However, we will clean and disinfect all frequently touched surfaces including all hard surfaces (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, coat hangers etc. All bedlinen, towels, tea towels will be washed on a high temperature for at least 30 minutes. Do not worry . We are always around to advise and help with any questions you may have. Handwash is available in the kitchen and bathroom as well as antibacterial gel to the entrance of the cottage. We can offer self check in and leave the key in the door on your arrival.
