House with private sauna and garden.
House in the countryside with private sauna and garden. The house is set in the serene environment of Slovenian countryside. It is part of an estate which includes a vegetable garden, a flower garden, a forest and a pond. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the main Brežice – Podčetrtek road. The house can host up to 4 people and includes a bedroom, a kitchen (with oven and dishwasher), a large living room, a bathroom, a hallway and a room with Finnish sauna and shower. Our guests are welcomed to use the outdoor grill and the surrounding greenery. We live in a separate house at the property and are always available to help you organize and plan your trip, or simply assist you in anything else that would make your stay even more enjoyable. Guests are welcomed to contact me via phone or email for any kind of advice or help they need. Should you wish for us to show you around, please do not hesitate to ask – we will gladly offer you some company during our free time. It is possible to see deer, storks, wild ducks and other wild birds at the estate. The area belongs to Natura 2000 and boasts rare unspoiled nature. The Jovsi Nature Park is home to a stunning variety of plants and animals, most notably 80 different species of birds, including the endangered corncrake. Dobrava is a lowland oak and hornbeam forest intersected by countless small streams and also houses a wide variety of flora and fauna, such as the black stork, collard flycatcher, middle spotted woodpecker and even the rare Ural owl. In the vicinity there are numerous castles: the Brežice castle, Mokrice castle (also offers golf), Pišece castle, Bizeljsko castle, Podsreda castle, the castle at Veliki Tabor, etc. The house is suitable for a shorter or longer vacation in the country and is ideal for both a romantic getaway or a family retreat. It is a great starting point for hiking, cycling and excursions. There are three Thermal Water Parks nearby: Terme Paradiso Dobova (9 km), Terme Čatež (12 km) and Terme Olimia (28 km). Croatian capital Zagreb is a half-hour car ride away, and you can reach the Slovenian capital Ljubljana in an hour. We highly recommend visiting vineyards and rapids (caves in sand, used as agricultural facilities for the storage of crops) in Bizeljsko, and the village Kumrovec in Croatia (18 km), which is the birthplace of Marshal Tito. There is also an interesting Ethnological Museum in Staro Selo (Old Village). PLEASE NOTE! When arriving be prepared to provide: - ID for registration of guests to the tourist office - pay 2,50 € / day / guest for tourist tax
