La Barauderie offers beautiful accommodation, space to explore and relax and so much more. La Barauderie is an ancient hamlet built over two water sources dating to before the earliest records in France. As well as two beautiful homes, the hamlet retains all the character from these origins. This listing is for bookings for the whole Barauderie domaine including both of our homes with accomodation for 14 people. You can also find the listings for the two houses separately listed as La Bausse or La Grange With only two homes for rental at La Barauderie and acres of courtyards and gardens, there is more than enough space for all of our guests. But if you are travelling as a large group, or you are looking for that extra exclusivity, you can book the whole domaine for just your group. This includes both of our houses sleeping 14 guests, with the potential to add additional sleeping for three more guests. Rooms can be arranged as required to best suit the requirements of your group. While space to sleep is important, so is the space to enjoy the waking hours indivually, in couples or as small or large groups. This is where La Barauderie excels. The spectacular dining terrace easly seats 18 providing shade from the summer sun and fabulous views across our gardens and valley where the sun sets. Its the perfect place to make fantastic memories. The huge cathedral room of La Bausse can equally accommodate large groups with ease. The extendable dining table seats 14, providing space for large groups on cooler evenings and over the Christmas and festive period. Our kitchens are perfectly equipped for cooking and serving larger groups. The domaine’s buildings are centred on two enclosed landscaped courtyards overlooking our valley and the regional forest beyond us, offering privacy for grown-ups and a contained space for little ones to run about and play. Within the courtyards, La Barauderie has a large heated salt water swimming pool with wooden sun loungers and a spacious outside dining terrace with lovely views across the valley where the sun sets in the evening. Beyond the courtyards, you can enjoy the extensive grounds of La Barauderie’s domaine. The large garden leads down to a small lake with a rowing boat for the adventurous. Past the lake, you can explore our orchards and meadow and the stream that runs alongside them. Separately, you can also enjoy our potager, the wooded chicken enclosure, the herb garden and a variety of other outdoor spaces with sun and shade for all. For little ones (and the young at heart) there is a play area with swings, a slide and a trampoline. Throughout the courtyards and gardens there are a variety of seating and relaxation areas that means that whether you are looking for space to enjoy with friends and family or some quiet contemplation there is more than enough room for everyone.
