The Old Dairy

We are close to nature walks, beaches, castles, family activities, Carmarthen, steam railway, botanic & other gardens. It is a very peaceful and beautiful smallholding with animals, ideal for couples & young families. Guests must be OK with dogs, who will be in the yard a lot. Our internet is pretty reliable and high speed (fibre optic) but we cannot guarantee 100% as it's rural/domestic. Room 1 = 1 King size bed Room 2 = 2 single beds (can be joined) Common spaces = 1 (small) double sofa bed It's a beautifully renovated 18th century barn. We've used high quality natural products like limestone floors and oak beams. It's heated by underfloor heating using a ground source heat pump Swings, children's trampoline, pigs, chickens, ducks, geese, playing fetch with sheep dogs, etc. In 2020 we have created a private garden area for the Old Dairy. We usually offer guests to come around the 14 acres with us and, if they have children, they often come round to play with our kids (except during COVID social distancing). Quiet, safe, beautiful stream, cows, hills, farms, etc. The barn is right next door to our house. There is a bus to Carmarthen about 15 minutes walk away but it only goes about 6 times a day. There are two pubs within about a 20 minute walk Towels and bedding are provided. We try to leave a few essentials like tea/coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, shower gel & shampoo and a couple of rolls of loo roll, etc. but the accommodation is self-catering so please do ensure you arrange the rest of your needs.
