Ivy cottage

Tucked away in the popular and picturesque village of Llanfair Talhaiarn is Ivy Cottage, a charming one bedroom detached stone cottage. Full of character with solid wood floors and a log burning stove, it is the idyllic hide away to relax and unwind in comfort .Close to the Snowdonia National Park and the coast, it is a perfect location to explore North Wales. At Ivy Cottage there is a fully fitted kitchen, a beautiful square lounge with wooden floor and beamed ceiling, a double bedroom and small ensuite shower room and an enclosed courtyard. Tudor and myself live in the Swan Inn opposite the cottage and are contactable by phone should you be in need of anything. There are lots of friendly locals to give advice about the area and activities or you can be left in compete peace and privacy. There are lots of lovely walks around the village, from a stroll by the river Elwy to a hike up Bodran mountain. On the door step are two pubs, one an award winning restaurant and the other a traditional country Inn serving fine cask ales. St. Mary's Church was built in the 13th century and is a two minute walk away, as is a well stocked village store and post office. Due to our semi rural location your own transport is advisable, although we are not in a remote location public transport is limited.
