Villa Naga is an authentic Thai Style Luxury 2 Bed Villa nestled in the tranquility & serenity of Isan's rice fields. The Villa offers easy access to the 45m2 infinity pool. Villa Naga has 2 large bedroom suites, living/dining room, double kitchen and extensive gardens; ideal for both short/long stay and catered/self-catered. Breakfast is included with choice of Asian/Continental. A full Thai dinner service is available on request. We allow a total of 6 people with a maximum of 4 adults. Nakara Villa is a 2-bedroom luxury pool villa, nestled in the peace and tranquility of the rice fields of Isan and is available on an exclusive, self-catered basis. Located on 36,000m2 of its own land, the villa offers enough space to feel close to nature whilst still offering easy access to the cities of Udon Thani and Nong Khai (the city center is 20 minutes by car; Udon Thani airport is 25 minutes and Nong Khai is 40 minutes). Most of the land is given over to organic rice farming providing the rice for all of the meals we prepare. The Villa has been designed to retain exterior elements of traditional Thai architecture whilst providing a modern, comfortable interior. Rooms are spacious with most using bi-fold and sliding doors to open-up the inside and link it to the outside so the sense of peace that comes with being in nature never leaves you. Included in your booking (for bookings made after 19th August) we now offer a choice of Continental (Tea, coffee, orange juice, choice of cereal, eggs your style with sausages, bread basket including croissants, fresh fruit) or Asian (congee or other Asian breakfast dish replaces eggs & Sausage). Breakfast can be served anywhere in the villa including in bed if requested. Extra guests over 4 people will incur a charge of 250 bhat per person though kids 7 and younger eat free. A dinner service is also available if requested. We do a full Thai dinner (typically 1 soup, 3 dishes, choice of rice, fresh fruit and soft drinks) for 600bhat per person (Children 7 or younger again eat free with their parents). Alternatively a full a la carte menu available in the villa with dishes costing between 95 baht and 150 baht. Isan food, our specialty, is an absolute deliciously cuisine and is increasingly the default choice across all of Thailand now for locals as well as visitors. There is air-conditioning and wi-fi throughout and security is provided by a on-site security guard (Griang) who lives in a separate hut that is close enough to ensure protection but sufficiently far away to ensure privacy. We also offer a daily maid service to clean the villa with bed sheets changed twice a week. Laundry and ironing is also available though we do ask that you give the maid a suitable tip for this service. Room by room, the villa consists of: A living / dining space on the ground floor which is 60m2 with bi-fold doors that open-up on one side to the patio with outdoor seating. The living area has seating for 6-8 people along with flat screen TV and access to Truevision Satellite packages. The dining space has seating for 6 around a table made from two authentic Chinese Mahjong tables. Two large double bedroom suites of 60m2 and 40m2, each with a traditional Thai open roof extending the sense of space. Both also have wooden floor boards with doors and windows designed to link the indoor space with the outdoor space. Bathrooms are large and open; each has both a shower and a free-standing bath. A Buddha Room / study offering 20m2 of a very unique space for meditation or a perfect place for computer use or even writing that novel. The Buddha room opens up to a 23m2 balcony with views across the fields. The balcony also has a 6- seat dining table and full sized umbrella for al-fresco dining. A 40m2 indoor / outdoor kitchen that includes modern cupboards and shelves, a double door fridge with ice maker. Toaster and coffee percolator are provided. For cooking the indoor kitchen has a built in microwave and small electric hob sitting on a kitchen island whilst the outside kitchen has both a full sized gas hob and a full sized gas BBQ. There is also a 45m2 infinity pool, including shallow kids area, that allows for both cooling off or 17m laps for those wanting to exercise. The pool has it’s own sun deck with pool furniture and full sized sun umbrella. In the adjacent villa, there is a private SPA which can be used for massages on request; something we highly recommend given the low price and excellent quality of massages available in Isan! Out of the Villa's grounds, 800m2 have been turned into a landscaped garden, including two KOI ponds with waterfalls, assuring plenty of space to relax and unwind. No one is yet to come to Nakara Villa and not fallen in love with the Villa, its surroundings and the experience we offer. Nakara Villa is available on an exclusive basis and guests have access to all parts of the villa, gardens and pool. There is an adjacent two bed villa which is used by us for 6-8 weeks a year; this villa has a spa for massages and this can be opened up on request at no extra charge. The resort is our pride and joy as well as our pleasure to look after you, to keep you safe and to act as your guide to the Isan Region. As you are booking on Airbnb, then Asian or Continental Breakfast is included already but we are happy to prepare dinner for you if you request - please do just ask when you arrive. We are in situated in Nature but also close to town which is just a 15 minute drive away. There are plenty of local roadside shops, 7-11s/Tesco as well as fresh markets nearby. All the main attractions here are within a short drive including the Red Lotus Lake, the UNESCO Heritage site at Ban Chiang and the boarder town of Nong Khai. There is also a 9 hole golf course and a gym nearby. A little further and there is also horse riding and professional fishing lakes. And, if you like to cycle or run then there are miles after miles of roads to explore. Public transport including taxis are much more limited here than in Bangkok, Phuket and Chang Mai. We would recommend hiring a car, or at least scooters, to get around. Generally these can be hired at the airport or from a few outlets in Udon Thani Town. For day trips it is possible to hire a van authorised tour guide. We can help book this for you if requested. Reservation specified a particular number of guests. No guests beyond those listed and counted within the Reservation are permitted on the property at any time. This applies to day visitors or overnight visitors. All guests to the property should be within the parameters of the reservation. Parties/Gatherings may be allowed with prior arrangement with Owner. Additional Fees will be incurred. Guest is responsible for the property and the behavior of all other guests for the duration of the rental period. Exceeding agreed upon guest numbers is cause for cancellation and removal. True Vision basic package is included for free. We can upgrade to higher packages at request during your stay. For short term (less than two months) all bills are included. For long term we will separate out water and electricity bills though cheaper monthly prices are available for bookings over 3 months.
