Cozy apartment with breathtaking sea and city view from your private rooftop terrace. Only 2 stairs away from the sea. There is a big terrace in front of the apartment, shared with our lovely mom. The rooftop (140m2) is private and exclusive for guests of this apartment. Recently renovated apartment, with airconditioning, tv and an outside hot shower Castro also known as "the pearl of Salento" is one of the most beautiful places in Salento. When you walk down the apartment's stairs you will face the blue/green coloured sea (Castro was again awarded with the blue flag). Walk 150 meters with this beautiful view and you will find the town square with bars, restaurants and a supermarket. If you like to hike, go up from the town square and reach the old town of Castro. There you will find the castle of Castro and lots of history. The apartment consist of one big bedroom, one bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen including a nespresso machine and milkfoamer, a livingroom with sofa bed, airconditioning, TV, outside hot shower, a terrace overlooking the old city and a rooftop terrace with breathtaking see and city view. In Castro you will find paid and unpaid parking areas. It's possible to buy a parking pass at the square. There is a shuttle bus/train that brings you to the upper part of the city and back. Everything in Castro is reachable by foot. Please be aware that climbing a stairs is unavoidable to reach the apartment. Therefore the house, unfortunately, is less suitable for people with mobility problems. It’s an one level apartment with a small doorstep at the entrance. Also during the summer it’s possible that our dog Maya (a 9 year old lady) is there to welcome you. She sometimes stays at the apartment next door.
