Located just 3km from the A7 Milan/Genoa motorway, just a 25 minute drive from Genoa and less than one hour from Milano, this old eighteenth-century farmhouse, placed at the foothills of the green Borbera valley and surrounded by fields and rolling countryside, welcomes its guests with both intimacy and discretion. The rooms respect the harmony and architecture of the historical piedmont houses which were built around the original peasant’s rural dwellings. The main wing of the farmhouse, currently used by our guests, was in the past the main residence of the previous owners, joined to the strictly operative part of the “sharecropping” building but not linked to it. The interiors are characterized by vaulted ceilings, old beams, marble fireplaces and with original flooring of cement tiles, typical of the area. A living room where you can read or watch television is available to guests. Fully equipped kitchen. Check-In is available from 4 p.m. till 10 p.m. Check-Out is at 10 a.m on departure's day. On departure's day luggage can be left in Cascina if necessary till 1 p.m. Private parking available. Kitchen fully equipped. The small swimming pool and the relax area are available for the guests during their stay in Cascina. Guests may find some of the family members during their holiday. Family leaves in a different building and just some open areas may be shared. Family member's are available in case of help but will respect the privacy of our guests. Cascina is placed in the really small town of Variano Superiore at the beginning of Borbera Valley. You will feel the relaxing life of a countryhouse surrounded by cultivated fileds, a lovely hill and woods. In case you're looking for recreational activites cycling and trekking will help you discovering the lovely Borbera Valley. I'll be glad to suggest you all the tracks and path available. Sanitizing gel will be available in Cascina as well as surgical masks. During check-in and check-out i ensure you i'll wear masks and gloves and the keys, already sanitized, will be provided in an envelope to avoid any contact. As suggested by Airbnb i guarantee a 24h break between each reservation in order to sanitize all the rooms. I loved shared my beloved house with guests. In case of small damage to flatware i kindly ask you to inform me - it could happen to everyone - so that i can fix everything for upcoming guests.
