Gorgeous Countryside Villa

"La Villa Bourgeois" was built in 1817 by a rich cassis farmer who lived there with his family. Nowadays it's used for big groups up to 25 persons who want to spend wonderful holidays. In the ground floor there is a big kitchen with everything you need for cooking, instead of food ;) Furthermore there is a large dining room and 2 common rooms. In the future one will be a library and the other will be a gaming room with Billard, Flipper, Kicker and a lot of table games. We are a cultural, artistic, social, eco work and life project called "Anwesend". The property is around 1 ha big with a few houses, a big park and the river Vingeanne. There are a lot of opportunities for different kinds of activities e.g. there is a sauna, a big traditional pizza oven, the interactive "eigenklang" music -studio, canoes, bicycles, a boules course and many many games like Billard, Flipper, Dart, table tennis, table games... If you like to use one of these things you can talk to us!I There is always one of us present, so if you have any issues, feel free to ask. Furthermore you are invited to take part on our community life (cooking, eating, activities), but of course you can also enjoy your holidays on your own. We live in a small village with around 130 inhabitants. The countryside is perfect to come to rest and to enjoy life. In addition the area is perfect for bike tours along the canal which is 2 minutes away from here. On demand it's possible to rent bicycles from us. The small village has a lot of beautiful old houses and a walk along the river Vingeanne lend itself to calm down. Furthermore there is not so much going on here, no shops, no cafés - and (almost) NO cars! :) The next supermarket/pharmacy/bakery/restaurant or bar is in Fontaine-Francaise, 5 minutes by car or around 20 minutes by bicycle. Every day except on Wednesday and Sunday there is a mobile bakery at 9 o'clock in the morning. Every Friday there is a mobile Pizzeria in the village. The public transport is sparse :) There is a bus from Dijon to Fontaine-Francaise (5km from us) and the other way a few times a day. The last one is around 7 pm. From there it's possible to hitchhike, but we also offer a dispatcher from and to Fontaine. Arriving by car it's quiet easy. The next "real" city is Gray (20km) or Dijon (40 km). Champlitte, a small city, is 10 km away. Bèze, a beautiful village with some grottoes and an always sparkling spring is 17 km away and a trip there is really worthwile.
