Pawprints at Notter Mill Country Park with it's own private entrance, car parking spaces, garden and patio area is the perfect place to take time out and relax. We provide a fully equipped kitchen, open plan living area with wood burner, a sunny south facing patio, gazebo, a BBQ, picnic bench plus sunbeds. WiFi, bed linen and towels are included. ln a park setting of only 23 cottages on the banks of the River Lynher, perfectly placed to explore beaches and countryside in Cornwall and Devon. Just one step up to the property then everything else is on one level. The kitchen cupboards have basic supplies of tea, coffee, herbs and spices. A washing machine available for you to use. The newly fitted kitchen has a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, eye level oven and induction hob as well as plenty of storage space and utensils. There are two bedrooms, separate shower room and toilet. We offer a TV with Netflix for the days/evenings when you just want to stay in and relax. WiFi, bed linen and towels are included in the rental price. When you are not out exploring the beaches or countryside there is a heated outdoor swimming pool (open from May to September- there may be restrictions on numbers allowed in the pool at any one time due to government restrictions during the Covid 19 pandemic) a recreation field with a large childrens play area, small football pitch, table tennis, badminton/volleyball net and tennis court with equipment provided. Sanitiser is provided in shared spaces on site or bring your own. Guests have full access to the space and recreation areas, also to the laundry area on site. Currently you will need to speak to the Park Owners to book a slot in the laundry room due to Covid Restrictions. We provide self check in with a key safe on site. If you prefer we are happy to arrange to meet with you on arrival and show you around the lodge. I will send you a photo of where the key safe is and the code on your arrival day when we have finished setting up for you. If you require assistance with anything whilst you are staying at our property you can contact us by telephone, we are about 1 hour 15 minutes away but are happy to come and sort out any potential issues. Close to the cities of Plymouth and Truro. A short 6 minute walk down the lane takes you to Notter Bridge Inn one of our favourite pubs, serves great food and local beer/cider/wine at lunchtime and in the evening. June 2021 just re-opened after the floodwater damage in December 2020 During 2021 Plymouth will be hosting celebrations for the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower departing for the Americas with the founding fathers. Plymouth also hosts an International Firework Festival in the late summer. There are some great National Trust Properties close by such as Saltram House, Mount Edgecombe, Buckland Abbey, Cotehele House. Morewellham Quay is a great place if you have young children to entertain, they always have something going on. If you prefer beaches there are some lovely ones only a short drive or train ride away such as Seaton (Cornwall), Looe, St Ives , Carbis Bay ( venue for the 2021 G7) , Bude and Newquay if you like surfing. There are also lots of coves hidden away for you to find and a trail that shows where some of the filming for Poldark took place. Lots of beaches, cafes and restaurants are dog friendly but please check online as some beaches have date restrictions. The moors are only a short drive away. The Minions on Bodmin Moor with its lovely pub and tearooms is a great place for a walk to the standng stones and the Hurlers. Bodmin Jail and Jamaica Inn are worth a visit as is Kitt Hill with it's 260 Degree view of the countryside (on a clear day). Please remember to check opening times/dates particularly during the COVID 19 pandemic, bring a facemask with you and remember HANDS FACE SPACE FRESH AIR Local walking maps can be found online. Plymouth will have a Mayflower 400 walking route around the city in 2021, a great way to find your way around. Saltash (about a 10 minute drive away) has a rail link that will take you to the beautiful St Ives, a haven for artists as well as wonderful beaches and food. It also takes you towards Plymouth and down to London. Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor have some great cycling and walking routes. At the top of the lane there is a public bus route into Plymouth or into Looe and Polperro. We will still provide our welcoming cream tea for your arrival as well as leaving Covid 19 cleaning equipment in the high cupboards in the utility room (away from little fingers) There is only one step up to the property then everything else is level
