The Hideaway Bell Tents Bude Cornwall (woodpecker)

The Hideaway is a family run small wild camping site, we are situated in the North Cornish Countryside but only 2 miles from the coast. We had such a successful first year we are hoping to make 2022 even better . Although it is wild camping (no electricity) our aim is to make it a cozy, relaxing retreat away form your everyday life. Each tent will have a kingsize bed with all bedding 2 chairs - small table Cool box Single camping stove (outside use) Whistling kettle - dinning set x 2 We have 6 5m bell tents set in a 3 acre field, only the pitches and paths are cut as we like to encourage wildlife and support the bee. We are south facing so when the sun is shining we enjoy the sunshine all day. As we are hidden away in the countryside guests will find it a place to relax in the quiet, sometimes the only noise your hear is the bird song. We are surrounded by lovely country walks from the site or take a drive and enjoy the South West Coastal Path. We have private parking just inside the entrance to the field, this parking is on grass within a wild filed. The grass will be kept at a short level for ease. We have no driving to the tents in the field only foot paths to keep it safe and quiet for everyone. The field is attached to our garden so we are around for any assistants you may need. The entrance to The Hideaway is just along from our house and we are planning on doing self checkins to make it safer and easier for all. We have a lot of contacts in the outdoor pursuits industry so happy to point you in the right direction for lessons and family fun. We have a lovely family run village shop 5 minutes walk from us. Where you can get all your essentials or if you just fancy a walk around the village and pop in for an ice cream. They also have a great supply of refill items, just need your Tupperware's. You can get to the shop by either walking along the road or along the river walk just around the corner from us. Which is called 7 bridges (now 6) great fun for poo sticks with the kids too, then at the end is the village park. At the bottom of the village is a bus stop which can get you to most places or catch the bus into Bude then catch a bus further afield. We also have a choice of local taxi companies.
