Sophia's Traditional Village House

A fully renovated house in the picturesque village Agios Prokopios, one of Corfu’s traditional settlements . Just 8 km from Corfu town and 6 km from the airport. A warm, cute place with one double-bed bedroom, a dinning corner next to the kitchen, one bathroom with shower and a beautiful outdoor area in the traditional alley. Surrounded by the most beautiful beaches of the island, such as Agios Gordios(5km), Glyfada(9km) and other sights such as Achilleion(5km) and Paleokastritsa(20km). This atmospheric traditional house was built more than a century ago and it was fully renovated in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) It's all made of stone with thick walls (80cm) so the inside temperature stays low when it's hot outside. During hot days the air-condition cools the rooms immediately. The kitchen is fully equipped and apart from the dining corner inside,there's an outdoor table and chairs where you can enjoy your meals and drinks with candles during the evening and under an umbrella during the day. The house is located in the pedestrian part of the village where cars are prohibited. Parking is allowed at the main road only 30m from the house. Wifi access is provided free of charge. Guests are also provided with detailed driving instructions and a phone number available 24/7 for any need that may arise. Twice a week cleaning, linen/towels (service included in the rent). Agios Prokopios village is located almost in the middle of the island around 8km from Corfu town and 6km from the airport. It's a traditional settlement with an exceptional natural beauty around it, 140m above sea level, with great architecture, orthodox churches dating even from the 15th century, pedestrian roads and a very nice view to Corfu town. Also in our village there's the oldest olive tree of Corfu island!! Close to the house, @ Bontzis Traditional Cafe(village square) Guests can have their coffee/breakfast/drinks and light meals until late at night, enjoy the greek village atmosphere and even the pleasant company of local people who are traditionally very open and welcoming! The Green Buses' route that connects our village to Corfu town and the beach is the one with final destination the village Sinarades-Agios Gordios(beach) and the ticket costs 1.80euro/passanger. Sophia's traditional village house is only 30m from bus station.
