This room takes you back to the seventies. A family room for 3 persons The room is 35 m2 and has a large double bed and a sofa which can be transformed into another spacious sleeping place. The room has several seating areas and is very suitable for adding a cot The bathroom is adjacent and must be shared with other guests. Our house has great access and is only a few hundred metres from the main road, yet is feels private, but not secluded. We live in a wing on the ground floor of the house. We are always ready to tell our guests about the area and to give nice tips. We would also like to introduce you to local activities. All rooms have an extensive information folder and you will also find plenty of information about the region in the central hall. Casa Traca is located 2 kilometers from Arganil, in the authentic Portuguese village of Valbona. There are many river beaches in the immediate vicinity, of which Folques is even within walking distance. Casa Traca is located at the foot of the Serra do Açor, the hawk mountains. This one lives up to its name because there are many hawks and other birds of prey to spot, including the harrier and griffon vulture. We are close to the Rio Alva and the Rio Mondego. Ideal for lots of water fun such as swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding. In the mountains there are waterfalls such as Fraga da Pena and Poco da Broça. The unique slate village of Píodão which is on the world heritage list is also worth a visit. We are happy to tell you a lot more about hidden villages and river beaches. Prefer a day city trip that is possible to Coimbra. Coimbra is 40 minutes away and therefore ideal for visiting this famous university city.
