Modern Open-Plan Family Home in Pretty Village

Lovely three bed house with plenty of parking & decked tropical garden to rear. With its open plan downstairs and separate games room, our home is a great social house for families or friends. Set in the pretty village of Edgmond , perfect for country walks and bike rides with a children's play park, pub, village shop and post office and close to the major towns of Newport, Telford, Market Drayton, Stafford, Shrewsbury and Birmingham. 5 minutes from Harper Adams University. Semi-detached property with Kingsize double bedroom, and two single bedrooms. Bed linen and towels are all included. The upstairs bathroom has a full size bath and shower. There is a newly renovated and redesigned decked back garden area with water feature, covered snug and tropical plants, a trampoline and outdoor dining for four in the Summer months. You will find a downstairs toilet and utility area with washing and drying facilities. A downstairs games room has an extra TV and space for watching dvds with plenty of games and toys for little ones. We have an open fire but we would prefer guests not use it for safety reasons. Wifi is available throughout the house so you can sit back with a film on Netflix or Amazon Prime. Our large dining table seats 6-8 and there is a breakfast bar in the kitchen for easy breakfasts. We aim to provide tea, coffee, milk, eggs and bread and there is a well-stocked kitchen, with condiments and ingredients you are welcome to use. We just ask that if you finish something you replace it please. Our comfy home is suited to families with children, as the house has toys, a trampoline + small games room but equally is comfortable and relaxed for any other type of guest. Beautiful views from the front of the house overlook the Shropshire countryside in a very calming and friendly village, which we love. Although we won't be at the house during your stay, this is our family home so there may be items in the wardrobes and cupboards, however, as much as possible will be tidied away with plenty of storage space for you. The whole house is accessible for your comfort and privacy. I am on hand if you need me, but will leave you in peace to enjoy your stay! I will email you details for access to the property before your arrival. Arrival is from 1500 hours, unless discussed otherwise, departure from 1100 hours. Just email me if you have any issues or questions. The village of Edgmond is a quiet friendly place with good amenities for a small village, but close to the town of Newport and Telford. Stafford train station is 20 minutes away and you can be in London in 1hr10 minutes! Shrewsbury is 20-25 minutes by car and is a great town to visit out with excellent market hall, fabulous restaurants, cocktail bars and shopping. There are lovely walks around the area and beautiful views across the pretty Shropshire countryside. The house is also 10 mins walk from Harper Adams University. 5 mins to a bus stop on the high st outside the local pub takes you to Newport or Shrewsbury. We have three young cats - (mum Lily, her brother Pepe and Lily's baby Ginger) who are all very kind-natured and sleep a lot, in fact most of the day. They stay out at night. An electronic chipped cat flap lets them in and out and unwanted cats away. If you would rather they are not here, we are happy to put them into our local cattery, but if you are happy to be here with them, they will need feeding (food is provided)
