Munroe wooden home is an add on to Green Chromide Homestays. Its cozy little wooden cottage facing the beautiful Kallada river. It is located in an Island called Munroe Island in Kollam district, South of Kerala is a perfect place to spend your vacation. Our space is a cozy little complete wooden structure with all modern amenities. The property is along the riverside with private beach, hammock and a small tiled canopy to relax along the riverside. We provide authentic homely Kerala style veg and non-veg meals. Specialized in fish curry and fish fries. Dining area: Riverside dining area Washrooms : Each with a washbasin, Tap. 1 European WC, Shower . Other items included: Iron with ironing board will be provided on request, Free wireless Wi Fi( not high speed) for basic use and a free Car parking facility. Bi-Cycles are available with very nominal charges. Guest have access to most of the areas of the home, riverside property, veranda. Access to Kitchen and laundry are upon request. This place is for people who would like to enjoy peaceful Kerala's countryside life. Most of the area is surrounded by water. This island is formed by the confluence of the lake and river. It has narrow canals, lagoons, prawn and green chromide farms, backwaters, mangroves, unmanned islands, etc. It's a small little village with simple and friendly people. MunroeIsland railway station is about 2.5km from our property. The bus stand is at 200 meters from the property. Auto rickshaws ( Tuk Tuks) are available any time on request at the property
