Beautiful family home Lake Trasimeno, Castiglione

Our gorgeous family home is on the Tuscany/Umbria borders and has stunning views over the Tuscan hills and village of Montepulciano. Set in a quiet location, amongst olive & fig trees it is perfect for a relaxing family holiday. The house is very spacious with plenty of room inside & out for children to play and adults to unwind. Castiglione and Lake Trasimeno are a 10 minute drive away, with shops, beach, restaurants and children's play areas as well as local ferry access to the lake islands. The house has a great amount of space that will easily accommodate 2 families. The new pool was finished in July 2021 and is a beautiful 5m x 10m pool with stairs at shallow end. There is a ping pong table and BBQ that guests can use. It's very easy to get to some of Italy's most famous cities by car or train.. Rome is 2 hours by train and can be done in a day (I've done it a few times with 3 children!) and Florence about 90 minutes. Assisi, Siena and Orvieto are around 45 minutes drive. Access to all of the house and garden I am based in UK and will liaise with you before your arrival. My brother Robert and his family live 20 minutes away and will be there to greet you and give you local information. A beautiful location with a wealth of activities from cycling to wine tasting, pedalos on the local beach, sailing to visits to famous hilltop villages and towns. It's very easy to get to some of Italy's most famous cities by car or train.. There's a small but very fun waterpark about 20-25 mins drive away which is great for small children and teenagers alike.. It's small enough to pitch your towels down and sunbathe whilst the kids get on playing! Car is necessary
