(2 people 1 bedroom- 3/4 people 2 bedrooms) if you require an extra room for 2 singles then you must let me know prior to arrival as there is an added cost. You also have access to our beautiful gardens and of course the hot tub. We live on the property site but our house is separate from the guesthouse, - just a walk through the garden. If you need us for anything we are a text or a few minutes away. We are only present if you need us. Our neighbourhood is the tall flowering trees of the forest, the local animals, and the beautiful scenery. The gardens are extensive and we are set back off the road so the sound of traffic is limited. Unusual in this day and age, but yet we are only 1hr 10 mins from the centre of Melbourne. It takes 1hr and 30 mins from Tullamarine airport. A beautiful scenic route with barely a traffic light. Follow the GPS onto the Western Ring Rd, to Diamond Creek, Wattle Glen, Kangaroo Ground, Christmas Hills, Yarra Glen, then onto Healesville. Turn left at the Caltex Service station onto the Myers Creek St Leonard's Rd. Drive for 10 mins and follow the signs to Strathvea Guesthouse :-) We hope you can take the time to visit us as we are situated in a rare forest of the tallest flowering trees in the world as well as tree ferns which can be as tall as a 2 story building. We have great forest walks nearby with plenty of birdwatching opportunities. 10 mins up the Myers Creek are beautiful rainforest walks and then down the road is the Healesville Sanctuary, which is 15 mins away. As well as the many quality vineyards nearby. Go to Healesville and visit the worlds leading distillery Four Pillars. Or you can stay at your forest getaway and enjoy feeding the colourful parrots in our garden. If you are lucky, they will land on your hand or shoulder. We hope to see you soon.
