This Courtyard Cottage provides a quiet and private space where you can experience the authentic atmosphere of rural Ireland. Here you have the freedom to be on your own. Self catering accommodation.This cottage has two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen/dining room, and a private entrance with private parking. Situated just 10 minutes drive from Kerry's capital town of Tralee and 25 minutes from Killarney, Glenduff Manor is a wonderful Victorian Manor that was built in 1846. This Courtyard Cottage provides the freedom for those who wish ‘to do their own thing’. This self-catering, two story cottage, offers 3 star accommodations, with comfort and flexibility. (Website hidden by Airbnb) The cottage provides full central heating, wifi, TV, microwave, washer and free bed linen. Come and experience the authentic atmosphere of rural Ireland. This cottage has a private court yard shared with the two other cottages. You are welcome to use the seating area and BBQ that has been set up in front of the Manor House as well. For your own comfort a safe has been provided for you in the cottage. Upon arrival you can set the safe to have your own personal access code. We request that you leave the safe open when you leave. We have 3 travel cots on the property. We have 3 fold out beds too, but they can’t be used in the manor house only in the cottages, there is room for 1 fold out bed per house. For Families with young children: We have 2 High Chairs in the Manor House if anyone needs them. We don’t have extras in the cottages, but please ask for these in advance and we can offer them to you first. We don’t have any toys or Pack n’ plays for the kids. Guests have access to on site Child Care services for 12 EU per child; if available.Please ask in advance so that arrangements can be made to accommodate you. In the cottages we also have 1 stair gate. Additional amenities include: Washing machine ( washing tablets available), Dryer, Dishwasher, Cooker, Fridge, Kettle, Toaster, Microwave, Hairdryer, Curling iron, Iron / Ironing board, TV, Wifi, Cutlery and Dishes. I don’t live on the premises as the cottages are self catering but I am always available via Airbnb messenger. Please message me if you have ANY questions or issues! The cottage, manor and gardens offer the peaceful and idyllic ambience for which Irish rural life is renowned. For those who wish to relax and take it easy, this is the place to be. For the more energetic, there is hill walking and rambling along scenic country roads taking in spectacular views of Tralee Bay. It is an ideal base to for exploring the delights of Tralee and County Kerry. Just a short drive away there are a number of sandy beaches and an array of first class golf courses to avail of. Kerry is the most popular golf destination in the world, boasting a number of Ireland’s finest courses within easy reach including Tralee Golf Course designed by the great Arnold Palmer. You can also enjoy the world famous scenic drives including the Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula and Slea Head (Website hidden by Airbnb) Glenduff Manor, a wonderful Victorian property was recently purchased in 2016 by Michael O’Malley. Michael who is one of fifteen children, grew up in the Grove, Dingle and immigrated to Boston twenty years ago and went on to become a successful property developer. Michael commented “It gives me great pleasure to be able to return home and create opportunities for the local community... [Glenduff is] a boutique Manor House with accommodation. The manor is closed due to COVID restrictions .The cottages are self catering so will be open. Set in Tralee, Glenduff Manor features a garden, a shared lounge. Located: -5.7 miles from Kerry County Museum (15 minute drive) -7.5 miles from Siamsa Tire Theatre (15 minute drive) -10 miles from Ardfert Cathedral (20 minute drive) -12 miles from Kerry Airport (20 minute drive) Wifi speed is a 7/10. It takes a minute but it works just fine! Glenduff Manor will be closed due to the COVID restrictions this summer but the cottages are self catering so will be available.
