Spacious detached two-storey villa within a verdant, quiet gated community of 25 residences. Patio extension and new roof in 2016. Airbnb-listed as from September 2017. The magic of the place lies in the huge shared garden dotted with coconut trees and flowering tropical plants, around a common swimming pool. The villa's two first-floor balconies and its ground-floor patio overlook the warm, peaceful space. Temperatures here vary between 20 to 28°C over the year. The ground floor offers a comfortable open kitchen/dining/living space. About 200 metres away, St François fish-landing station is a place for a bit of swimming, rockpooling, and unhurried chatter with local fishermen while they bring in the catch of the day. Entire two-storey home, shared grounds and facilities. Of the 25 residences within the grounds, a few will be occupied at any one time. There is space between villas for both privacy and casual encounters. The villa is typically a 1 h 15 min drive from the airport. There is one private parking space with plenty of space for several more cars within the grounds. The nearest petrol station, IndianOil, is 500m away. The nearest public beach, Anse La Raie, is a 5 min drive whereas wonderful Pereybere would be 15 min. We have four adult-size bicycles. New air con units for each bedroom installed in 2016, which would mostly be used in the hot season of November till April. We now have wifi included in the price.
