Rose Cottage-beautiful 19th Century home.

Rose Cottage is a 19th Century cottage which we have lovingly renovated to provide a light, airy holiday home. Located in a quiet residential area yet everything you could need, or want to see is just a short walk, bus ride or tram ride away. Bus stop= 5 mins walk Tram stop= 10 mins walk Pub/restaurant= 10 mins walk Shops= 15 mins walk/less than 5 mins by car The house has gardens at the front and rear for you to use, a large playing field across the road, a children’s park round the corner. The cosy lounge has comfy sofas, a large smart TV and electric fire if needed alongside the central heating. The lounge is open to the family dining area with round table and seating for 6. There are a selection of books for all ages. The kitchen features a gas hob, Neff Slide and hide oven, microwave and washing machine, aswell as everything you need to make your stay as easy as possible. The hallway has a great storage area under the stairs to keep all of your outdoor coats, shoes and boots. 3 bedrooms will keep you comfortable during your stay, with enough storage space for everyone. The bathroom has a large walk in shower, toilet, sink with storage above and below, shaver point and towel radiator. Although Rose Cottage was built in the 1800’s, it has been renovated and styled to allow the modern family to spend time in comfort, warmth and style. Rose Cottage is owned by 2 generations of a local family. All owners live a very short drive away, so you can feel assured that we are on hand should there be any problems during your stay. Equally, if there aren’t any problems, we’ll leave you to enjoy our lovely cottage. Rose Cottage is in a lovely residential village, across the road from a well loved local playing field. The field is used by local junior football teams, and once a year in mid July, the local Gala procession starts and ends here, followed by a funfair! We are in a fabulous central location to access Blackpool, Lytham, Cleveleys, Fleetwood or Poulton. A little further afield you will find Garstang, Preston, Scorton or Lancaster. Or if you really want a wonderful day out, The Lake District is around 75 minutes drive away. Five minutes walk to the end of the road will bring you to bus stops which will take you South to Blackpool, or north to Cleveleys or Fleetwood. (Connections from Blackpool will take you to Poulton, Garstang, Preston, Lytham and beyond.) Alternatively, if you walk a little further (only another 5 minutes) you will arrive at the seafront and can either walk or jump on a famous Blackpool Tram! Once you get onto the promenade, you’ll find yourself walking miles-especially on a lovely sunny day. There’s lots to see!
