Maison Saint-Père is located in the historic heart of the winemaking town of Sancerre across the street from Coeur de France language school. This recently renovated 4 bedroom house (130 sq meters / 1400 sq feet) can sleep up to 8 persons. Fast wifi connection, efficient work space, large living room, dining room, modern kitchen and bathroom. Just 2 hours south of Paris by train or car. High ceilings, stone construction and oak woodwork remind you of its origins: Maison Saint-Père was originally part of the romanesque church Saint Père la None in Sancerre. More recently, it was owned by a seamstress for many years and her antique sewing machine is on display in the former shop window. The entire house is at your disposition. We live a 1 minute walk from Maison Saint-Père and are available for recommendations of activities, wineries to visit and restaurants in Sancerre! Maison Saint-Père is located in Sancerre's "Coeur Historique", the historical center of Sancerre. At least 6 wine tasting cellars and within a 5 minute walk. Coeur de France French language school and the beautiful panoramic of the Loire River is less than a minute walk. Sancerre's Nouvelle Place is about a 3 minute walk. Here you'll find a boulangerie, several restaurants and cafés. Free parking is available. If you have bicycles you can park them in an enclosed interior space.
