You can practice wandering, trekking, climbing, fishing, skiing, mountain biking of course and enjoy the incomparable natural beauties of the landscapes. Only for mention, Vodo di Cadore offers the wonderful cycle-track “Ciclabile del Cadore” along the ancient, no more in use, a little bit romantic railway “Calalzo Cortina”, going through green meadows and hills. Starting from Vodo, you can enjoy some unforgettable trips or funny excursions with unique views to the highest Alpine huts in the Dolomites. If you like to improve some specialities of the “Cucina cadorina”, you can visit upon a time the most famous Restaurant of the valley. A coach-line links up Vodo with Cortina and with Venice, every day in the year ! In Cortina are held during the summer the “Reading weeks”, a very important cultural event.
