The Owl is a newly renovated modern rustic interior home, specially designed for lodgers to experience the concept called "forest in the city". Staying at The Owl will be like living in the comfort of your own home! We look forward to hosting you! It is the owner’s intention to offer and create a unique lifetime experience for city/urban livers living in Malaysia, Malaysians living abroad and international travelers an opportunity to embrace the typical Malaysian childhood memories of the olden ‘kampung’ (village) days. This experience will be unique as the lodgers get to enjoy a cosy kampung home in the midst of a bustling city, Kuala Lumpur(URL HIDDEN)little introduction of the owner and his dream. The owner was born and brought up in the Tiong Nam neighbourhood. His childhood memories growing up in the neighbourhood are still vividly and fondly engraved in his mind. It has always been the owner’s dream to recreate, to reminiscence and to share with others what it was like growing up in Tiong Nam. His dream became a reality when he turned his 50- year- old home which he once lived in into a homestay so that the world gets to experience kampung style living, in the bustling city itself. Lodgers are allowed to access the interior common area such as the living room, dining area, kitchen as well as the outdoor landscaped garden. The Owl has a gated car park for lodgers. During the course of their stay, lodgers may contact the caretaker if they need any assistance. Today, many decades have passed, yet the Tiong Nam neighbourhood has been preserved and retained so that lodgers coming here will be fascinated to experience the many unique features it has to offer. Local Market (pasar): Tiong Nam morning market is an interesting place for those who wants to experience the Malaysian style market (pasar pagi). After a walk in the market, lodgers may enjoy a hearty meal at the local famous hawker stalls selling wan tan noodles, pan mee, bak kut teh, fish head noodles and many more. The local market is just a minute walk away from The Owl. Food Heaven Plenty of eateries can be found in just a stone’s throw away from The Owl. Tourists who want to get a taste of the Malaysian food can find lots of famous local food here in Tiong Nam. On top of that, local food lovers will be spoilt with choices as the night famous hawker stalls are just 2 minutes’ away from The Owl. The Sunway Putra Mall is just 5 minutes’ away from The Owl. 1. For any events or production shooting (birthdays, wedding tea ceremonies, etc), we require full payout of 7 guests regardless if there are 7 guests staying or not! RMCO Period Rules !! 1. No huge events and canopy set up allowed during RMCO period. 2. Each unit provided 2 free parking. Extra parking can rent our catering/parking space or park at paid parking behind our unit. 4. Maximum 15 guests including 7 overnight guests are allowed to enter the unit. 5. All the visitors guests and overnight guests must provide personal details at least one day before the check in date and compulsory to scan mysejahtera before check in. Any uninformed guests will be denied entry. 6. Please do not use snow spray, confetti, party poppers / fire crackers or the like within the premises. If further professional cleaning is required, extra cleaning fees will be imposed. 7. All visiting guests and cars (except 7 overnight guests) must leave by 12.00AM. 10. Please remove all decorations before check out. Late checkout can be arranged with additional charge. Lodgers who wish to dine in, may be able to enjoy home cooked meal prepared by the owner's friendly neighbour, if she is available. The cook only accepts pre-order. So, if you would like to enjoy the delicious home cooked meal during your stay, kindly inform the caretaker your choice of food before your arrival. Menu: 1. Fried Rice/Noodles/Bee Hoon/ Kuew Tiao 2. Chicken Rice 3. Chicken Rendang Rice 4. Yong Tau Fu with Rice 5. Tom Yam Fish & Seafood with Rice 6. Other dishes request subjected to availability Event Additional Price (Include any events/celebration more than 7 pax include the visitors) 1. Additional RM300 for Weekday daily rate. 2. . Additional RM400 for Weekend daily rate. 3. Additional RM200 for renting TN2 car park space can fit up to 10++ (Van and car) & can place outdoor catering there as well. . 4. All the events and production shooting will be collect additional RM100 cleaning fees. 5. Security deposit with RM500 (will refund within 24 - 48 hour upon check out)
