This elegant and stylish handmade hideaway, less than a mile from Three Cliffs Bay, is perfect for a seaside escape to the spectacular Gower Peninsular. The cute and cosy space is beautifully equipped for a couple or small family, sleeping 4 guests in 2 lovely bedrooms. Amble down the path at the bottom of the garden for a short walk to the beach, or stroll in the opposite direction towards Gower's charming cafes and pubs. Min 3 nights stay The cabin sits on the landscaped gardens of the owner's estate but is privately situated away from the house on a lower level. The property looks out onto its own secluded section of woodland with nothing but the trees and birds for company. The beautifully presented cabin has been attractively decorated throughout with a charming collection of delightful furnishings from the bespoke made kitchen and wall units to the collection of paintings and artwork. There are two bedrooms, one double room, the second bedroom has a raised double bed and a single bed, complete with brand new beds and luxury bedding. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, kettle, toaster and breakfast bar, plus a full complement of cutlery and crockery. The living area is equipped with a large leather sofa to cuddle up in front of the flat screen tv, while two further seats make room for all the family. The luxury bathroom contains a hot shower and WC with snuggly soft towels included. The balcony at the back contains bespoke outdoor seating, lovely woodland views and a BBQ, while you will also find a table chairs outside for al fresco dining when the weather permits. Guests will have the entire cabin available to them exclusively for the entire duration of the booking, including all outdoor areas. Delightfully positioned on Sandy Lane, Eirlys is only a short walk from stunning white sands and enormous dunes of this beautiful seaside destination. Wind your way down the path at the bottom of the garden to Southgate or Three Cliffs, less than 15 minutes away. Sandy Lane itself is a fascinating collection of unusual abodes first used as an escape to safety during the Second World War. Enchanted by the peace and clean air, some residents decided not to return to the war-torn city but remained to form a new community of gentle, peace-loving souls. Just 400 metres from public transport links and with a shop and bar within a 15-minute walk, Eirlys makes an ideal base on the Gower. Three Cliffs Coffee Shop is a delightful nearby place to stop for a delicious lunch or evening meal, while the Gower has a huge variety of other brilliant food options, serving a great selection of healthy treats and traditional meals. Britain's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Gower is truly unspoiled by new development, its many beaches lay untouched by modern standards, despite its many visitors in the summer months. Amble through the Gower Way to see the stunning beauty of this fabulous area of Wales, a pathway that follows ancient byways right around the Gower Coast. Walk the "Worm", an iconic peninsula only accessible at low tide which juts out at the very tip of the Gower, sheltering Rhossili Bay, all 3 miles of it - consistently voted amongst the top 5 beaches in the world. Visit the quintessential seaside village of Mumbles 7 miles away, home of the lifeboat, a good range of bars, shops, and restaurants, and even its own lighthouse and pier. Here you will get a real taste of life by the sea. For golfers, we recommend a trip to Pennard golf club, only a few minutes' from the property for one of the very best links courses in the British Isles. There's a bus stop at the end of Sandy Lane and an accessible road network around Gower for those with a vehicle. Please be aware Sandy Lane itself is very bumpy and not suitable for low lying cars. Gowerton Train Station is also nearby, while there are numerous taxi companies in the area.
