Paddock View - Single story barn conversion

Set behind West Knole House in a quiet quintessential village location overlooking countryside. The detached accommodation sits on the edge of our paddocks. There is everything that you need for a short break or longer stay. Inside there is a fully fitted kitchen/lounge, a bathroom/wet room and separate w.c. A bedroom with a super king-size bed. We also have a further 2 Bedroom barn conversion ; "Stable View" Paddock view is a detached historic building which has been designed for a single person or couple to enjoy a quiet getaway. Whilst we have retained much of the original features the barn does have independent heating and hot water system, a log burner and double glazed windows. Within easy reach of many local attractions which include buildings owned by the National Trust, The Haynes Motor Museum and RNAS Yeovilton (Air Museum), places of interest such as Glastonbury and Wells, yet far enough away to enjoy peace and quite and two great pubs within walking distance. Paddock View has it's own exclusive patio area which over the coming months will be landscaped to form a small private garden, however guests are welcome to enjoy the garden belonging to the main house and paddocks which extend to 2 acres and include a picnic area beside a small stream and pond. Paddock View sits behind our home where we also have two B & B rooms. We are generally around, however all of the windows of the accommodation point towards open countryside. We appreciate guests not leaving lights and laptops turned on and heating turned up when not in the accommodation. We are happy to schedule the heating during the colder months to ensure that the building is warm on your return. Set behind West Knole House, which is a private home in a quintessentially quiet countryside village called Knole. You can reach two very good nearby pubs for your evening meal on foot as both are just within a mile . You can spend your time exploring the local countryside or visiting the many places of interest in Somerset. Our nearest market towns are Somerton and Langport. Long Sutton and Martock are also close by. You can easily reach Glastonbury, Wells, Yeovil and Sherbourne . We recommend that guest have a car or bicycle to visit this area. There are no buses in the village and the nearest railway stations are at Yeovil and Castle Cary each more than 15 miles away. We have horses, cats, a Labrador and hens on site.
