Gateway to the Barossa

Newly refurbished cottage on a private 15 acre farm located at the gateway to the Barossa Valley. Located a 5-minute drive out of Gawler and only 5 minutes from the closest wineries, you're only a short drive to many of the Barossa favorites including Seppeltsfield, Penfolds, Rockfords, and many, many more! Our self-contained cottage comes with everything you'll need for a trip out of Adelaide, including a brand new kitchen and bathroom. The cottage courtyard offers an intimate space to enjoy breakfast under the orange tree or an evening drink after a long day touring the wineries. The cottage sleeps 2 people in the main bedroom and up to another 2 people on the fold-out couch. You will be sharing the farm with chickens and a small group of sheep in the back paddock, making this an authentic farm stay. The owners also come and go from the main house, however, the cottage is privately located for you to enjoy without any intrusion. There is an old tennis court which you are welcome to use. BYO tennis racquets and balls. The cottage also includes a washing machine, iron and ironing board, induction cook-top, oven, microwave, smart TV, and large fridge. Guests are welcome to walk around the property but are kindly requested to remain out of all sheds and the back paddock. There is an old dairy that is not accessible to guests. The cottage is best accessed with a car. We are located along the Barossa Bike trail so you are very welcome to bring your bikes up with you.
