Located along a stream and a wild garden, this recently renovated old village home provides the perfect atmosphere for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. Your hosts, Barbara and Eric, have designed this place to share their love for the region and their passion for travel. Nature and sports lovers, as well as those seeking a sunny haven of peace will find here a breath of fresh air and maybe some new inspiration. The house is located along the GR4 hiking trail - which is one of the most beautiful hikes in the region - and the Castellane-Eoulx-Robion mountain bike trail. The town of La Garde is approximately 5km from Castellane and the gates to the Verdon Gorge. The lakes of Castillon and Chaudanne are also nearby. La Garde is home to an excellent grocery shop specialising in regional produce and excellent pre-cooked meals, as well as the bar and restaurant "L'Auberge du Teillon". The parking lot is 20 meters from the house. Nearby you'll also find a petanque court, a football pitch and a ping-pong table. The village fountain and its notoriously delicious spring water is also a few meters from the house.
