Modern Weekender in Ballarat

Welcome to Ballarat! Our home is modern and spacious, located a short 5 min walk from the Ballarat Golf Club. A 10 min drive to the Ballarat CBD where the Ballarat Fine Art Gallery and Tourist Information are located- Sovereign Hill is a 15 min drive. Our home is located in modern and quiet area close to the heart of Ballarat. We are located a five minute walk to the Ballarat Golf Club and the Arch of Victory. A 5 minute drive to Lake Wendouree Botanical Gardens and a 10 min drive to Ballarat CBD- where cafes, book shops and Ballarat nightlife is found. A 45 minute drive to Daylesford or historic Clunes. Your hosts will be Glenda (a retiree) and Paul- in whose lovely home you will be staying. At the moment Lauren is acting as our Guest House Manager! Please feel ask us for anything to make your stay unforgettable! Guests have access to their own private area of our home: private living room, toilet, bathroom and bedroom. Your room has its own lock and key. Also a front door key is provided so you can come and go as you like. Guests have access to the outside patio and front garden too! As little or as much as you like. Glenda will be around to help you with any questions- restaurant recommendations, tour recommendations (the Ballarat Ghost Tour is a must!) and information about surrounding places to visit. We provide a continental breakfast- toast, cereal, preserves, coffee and tea (and fruit!) from locally sourced produce. Golf enthusiasts- our home is located in front of the lovely Ballarat Golf Course. Bus number 15 from the Ballarat Railway Station/CBD stops directly outside our home (a 2 minute walk directions provided). We also provide a pick-up/drop-off service for $15. There is off street parking in our driveway. Please note we have pets! Charlie a lovable lab, Louis a toy poodle and two felines: Dexter a tabby and Issac who is long haired and cuddly. Our dogs will not be allowed in your section of the house, however we can't guarantee a curious cat won't venture your way!
