Light and spacious Annex with far-reaching views.

The Annex is a light and spacious self-contained studio above a garage with wonderful views across the valley. It has it's own entrance, parking, and a wooden deck. With plenty of wonderful walks on the doorstep, and a local pub serving delicious food, it is perfect as a base for couples wanting to explore the Stroud Valleys and Cotswolds, or as a stop-off for walkers doing the Cotswold Way. There is a double bed, and plenty of room to put up a single bed/cot/double blow-up mattress. Access is up steps (see photos) . The bathroom has a walk-in shower but no bath. There is a separate kitchenette, but it is not really suitable for lots of cooking. However we do have a bbq which can be used on the deck. The Annex is a completely self-contained studio, with its own deck with a bench and table and chairs, and guests will have exclusive use of the parking space in front of the Annex. Guests have access through our garden. We will be in the house which is part of the property, and will be available during your stay. Randwick is a village on the edge of Stroud, with wonderful views over the valley and backing onto National Trust woodland. There is a local pub serving delicious food, a playing field with a children's playground and football goals, as well as lots of fantastic walking in the woods and surrounding area. We are apppox 8 minutes drive from Stroud (or 30 mins walk) where there is a mainline train station with trains to London Paddington (1hr 35 mins) and a bus station. Cirencester, Gloucester, and Cheltenham are all within easy reach, and we are 15 minutes drive from M5 Junction 13. The kitchenette has a small sink, kettle, refridgerator, toaster, and microwave. There is bbq which can be used on the deck. There are plates, bowls and cutlery, but no pans. There is good mobile reception but no wifi in the Annex. We can provide an ethernet cable if required. There is a smoke detector but no carbon monoxide monitor because is there no gas. Well-behaved dogs are welcome but please let me know if you are bringing a dog before booking. There are lots of wonderful walks on our doorstep where they can be let off the lead, but as we have a dog of our own as well as two cats and free-range chickens who use the garden, guest dogs need to be kept on a lead on our property.
