ESCAPE TO THE COUNTRY - This beautiful traditional barn, in heart of Somerset, is set in a rural area surrounded by fields. EXPLORE THE BEAUTIFUL COUNTY OF SOMERSET - It is a few minutes from Burnham on Sea and Weston Super Mare, Cheddar George, Wookey Hole, Glastonbury, The Mendips, The Quantocks and much more. For keen shoppers The Barn is only 2 miles from junction 22 of M5, that allows access to Bristol, Taunton, Street and Exeter. We look forward to welcoming you soon! There are 3 double bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom and a family shower room, located on the first floor, one double bedroom on a mezzanine floor and one ground floor bedroom with a double sofa bed adjacent to a ground floor wet room (suitable for disabled). Ground floorspace benefits from a huge living area with doors opening in to private wall courtyard with barbecue, separate dining room and well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, range cooker, separate utility room with washing machine and separate dryer. There is a private courtyard accessed from the barn only, with BBQ, seating sunshade and shed for bikes etc. The parking area is shared and 3 cars can be parked in this area a further 2 spaces are available by the front door to the Barn and 1 further space by the bin area if required, careful parking is appreciated as the main area is a shared. I am normally available, if I intend to be away I will let guests know and an emergency number will be supplied The Barn is in a rural location surrounded by fields on the Somerset levels, close to the beaches of Burnham on Sea and Weston Super Mare. It is within easy reach of the M5 motorway just over 1 mile away, a main line station less than 2 miles away and Bristol Airport 15 miles away. There is a host of good pubs and restaurants, the closest being within walking distance at Richies Cider, which also has a farm shop selling local produce and their award winning Cider and Apple Juice. Wonderful walks abound, the Hill Fort at Brent Knoll from which you can see as far as Glastonbury, The Mendip Hills and The Quantocks to name but a few. Wells the smallest city in UK is just 11 miles away and historic villages such as Axbridge, Cheddar Wedmore and many more. Shopping at Clarks Village Street, Bristol and Exeter. This area offers some thing for everyone, so if you want a quiet retreat, a break by the sea, a walking holiday, like to shop till you drop or just some where to meet friends and family in traditional, luxury surroundings, the Barn would not disappoint. As outlined the Barn is close to motorway M5 J22, train Highbridge, Weston, Taunton & Bristol and Bristol International airport providing links to the South West, London, Mid lands and North, if you wish to explore the area a car is useful but not essential. The barn is adjacent to a farm Yard, where Geese and Chicken preside, this is not in the ownership of the host.
