This home is a modern, bright and fresh living space with polished wooden floors. It's set in the lush inner city suburb of Fig Tree Pocket home to the Koala park Sanctuary. The outlook is leafy green and easily accessible to public transport, bike paths and main roads. After entering the double wooden doors you will ascend stairs to the top separate living space. The home is open plan, freshly painted with polished wooden floors. It has a well equipped kitchen featuring Miele appliances and induction cooktop along with FP french opening fridge with water dispenser. There is a microwave for quick meals along and plenty of cupboard space if you choose to do a big shop and stay a while. The dinning and lounge area lead onto a balcony area where you'll find a Weber barbecue and an inviting sitting area to relax in amongst the tree tops. There is a large bedroom with a king size bed and a medium size bedroom with a double bed. Both rooms have plenty of hanging space and storage. The lounge area is equipped with a large screen TV, wifi together with options to plug in your device with a hdmi cable for personal viewing. The whole upstairs area is yours to enjoy. Washing machine is in the bathroom and you'll find drying rack etc on the balcony. Iron in the linen closet & ironing board next to the fridge along with mop. Longer stays we offer fresh towels weekly and fresh sheets fortnightly. We live downstairs and can be available if you need. We can leave you be or we are happy to give you plenty of information to help make your stay comfortable and access the best in the local area and around Brisbane. Quiet, green neighbourhood with parks, bike paths, lovely walks and is easily accessible to Brisbane CBD within 15 mins drive and the Gold or Sunshine Coast for beautiful beaches and attractions. It is home to the Koala Park Sanctuary within 30 mins walk. Kenmore village has great coffee, with an interesting & tasty mix of restaurants to choose from. Local shops are Kenmore with supermarkets and restaurants or Jindalee which would be a short drive or bus ride. There is public transport to both schools and universities QUT &UQ. Within 4 km bus you will be at Indooroopilly train Station and Shopping town. Just 9 kms drive or bus ride you are in Brisbane City with a wider variety of cafes, Restaurants, Theatres, Museums, markets, shopping etc. Southbank area has plenty going on with a man made sandy beach, markets, roller blading, segwaying, abseiling, theatre, art & museums with ferries to multiple locations in and around Brissy. Within an hours drive you can be on a beautiful beach on the Gold Coast or Sunshine coast or getting set to feed Dolphins on Tangalooma island. The home is ideal for work or play for anyone from one to 4 people comfortably in any arrangement. Singles, Couples and Families are welcome! We love little ones but you take the responsibility. There is a set of stairs so a safety gate would need to be used and supervision while on the balcony. If you love to cook, take long baths, local walks, visits to the park along with reading and relaxing this is an ideal space. It's also very easily accessible to up and down the coast for all sorts of attractions.
