A beautiful character filled home, perfect for a romantic retreat, small group or family. Wood Duck House dates back over 100 years and is stylish and comfortable, with a Smart TV and Wi Fi. Your first morning's breakfast is included, with local ingredients. Korumburra’s main street with restaurants, including The Borough Dept Store and Burra Brewery are only a few minutes’ walk away. Bike storage available with easy and fast access to the Great Southern Rail Trail. Wood Duck House is a unique home with original wooden floor boards throughout, 3 spacious bedrooms and a modernised kitchen in its original structure. There is ducted heating throughout. Panorama shutters transform the dining and lounge areas into light filled spaces with street and garden views. Bedrooms: All linen and towels are provided. All beds have electric blankets to keep extra warm on those cold nights as well as spare blankets and hot water bottles. Bedroom 1: A King Bed with a cosy reading corner and an air conditioner. Bedroom 2: A Queen Bed with a luxurious Chaise Lounge and garden views. Bedroom 3: 2 Single beds Kitchen: There is a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of recipe books. A well stocked pantry cupboard and herb garden outside are for the use of our guests. A Sodastream is available to add a touch of fizz to any drink! Bathroom: A unique and character filled bathroom with a shower, bath tub and toilet and locally made soaps and bath salts for your use and relaxation. The house has a second toilet as well. Living Room: The stylish living area has a large Smart TV and an air conditioner. There is also a desk available. Outdoor Space: The established and secluded garden has an abundance of birdlife, with a peaceful and relaxing entertainment area. There is an outdoor fireplace for cold Winter’s nights and a Weber Q BBQ for outdoor cooking. A hammock is set up under the trees for some lazy afternoon reading. NEW ADDITION: Wood Duck House now has a lock up space to store up to 6 bicycles. Our guests will have the use of the whole house. There are some wonderful restaurants in town, all within walking distance of Wood Duck House.
