Old cottage that was built as a part of monastery in 16. century, but after fire it was rebuilt into cottage for Scouts. It sits in the middle of a forest on a hill above the city of Kranj, just a few minutes of driving away from the railway and the bus station. It has capacity for 18 people and it is currently used by Scouts of Rod zelenega Jošta. It is ideal for people who search for adventure, or those who just want peace with the spirit of this historic cottage. Cottage is surrounded by beautiful nature, but is also just 10-15 minutes of driving away from city center of Kranj. The parking space is about 300m away from the house, on top of the hill. This accomodation provides a really unique experience due to the forest around the house and its position above the town of Kranj with a great viewpoint. There is a path by the house, leading to the top of the hill. Place is great for various outside activities, barbecue, having a campfire and hiking. The nearby town of Kranj has a bus and a railway station with regular connections to surrounding towns (Ljubljana, Jesenice, Bled...). The price of the house does not include turist tax which you must pay during your stay: - 1€ per night/person for 7-18 year olds - 2€ per night/person for 18+ year olds - free for children under 7 years We cannot guarantee that the water in the house is drinkable, however there is a source of drinkable water nearby.
