Used when two people travelling together prefer separate beds, or groups of three. Also ideal for families. If travelling as a single person, we will always give you the spacious double with the single remaining empty. Full Scottish cooked breakfast served in the house (included in the rate). The kitchen is available for refreshments or to prepare your own meal if you choose to. Dishwasher at hand, so no washing up! We would love to get to know you, but if at the end of a long day you need peace and quiet, that's fine. There is plenty of space to chill out in the house or there is the garden to enjoy. We are located in a quiet cul-de-sac with a south facing garden for soaking up the sunshine. Yes, we do get it in Scotland from time to time. We have easy access to the M80 motorway for routes north towards Stirling, Perth, and into the Highlands; east towards Edinburgh; west towards Glasgow; and south towards the Borders and England. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park are less than 40 mins away. We are 4 mins by car (free station parking), bus, or taxi from the main Glasgow/Edinburgh rail service with 4 trains and hour to Glasgow and 2 to Edinburgh. Arriving by train to Glasgow Central? Cross to Glasgow Queen Street (10 min walk) and travel to Croy Station. Coming to Edinburgh Waverley or Edinburgh Haymarket? Look for the Glasgow Queen Street service that stops at Croy (usually on the hour and half hour during the day). There is a direct coach between Glasgow Airport and Cumbernauld (Stagecoach X24), or take the city bus (First bus 500) to Glasgow Queen Street Station and take the train to Croy (4 an hour during the day). We can arrange local taxis, car hire, or other tours to make your Scottish visit 'awesome'. Alternatively just point you in the right direction. We are ideally located for a break of journey if travelling up from England to the Highlands, and likewise on the way south. 30-45 mins (normal traffic) to Glasgow International Airport, and 60 mins to Edinburgh Airport. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, historical and cultural cities. Coming to Scotland on business? Why struggle to find a quiet retreat in the city, when you can escape the noise and hassle? With high speed wifi available, and office facilities for colour printing, scanning, and document creation, we can offer you all the office facilities you need. Fast trains to the heart of Glasgow (4 per hour), Edinburgh (2 per hour), or Stirling (2 per hour) from the local railway station, Croy. Direct coach link from Cumbernauld to Glasgow Airport.
