Hulhumale' is a beautiful and peaceful island. There is long beach with a lovely wave break. The water is always warm and rich with marine life. You can go snorkeling and spot various types of fish and corals just a few feet from the beach. Water activities such as jet skiing, kayaking, banana boat, wake-boarding etc. are all possible from here. It's in a residential neighborhood so expect it be quiet but provides a good way to get a feel of how the laid-back locals live. There are various restaurants serving both local and international cuisine and convenience shops to buy anything you may require. The capital Male' is a short 20 minute boat ride away. Airport: The airport is a short 10 minute taxi drive away. Around Hulhumale': Public bus and taxis are both available. However, you can walk anywhere you need. Bicycle renting is also possible. Male': The capital city is only a short 20 minute ferry ride away. Service is frequent.
