Dartmoor Cottage with many walks from the doorstep

Located on a working farm within the Dartmoor National Park. Little Badworthy is a one bedroom cottage offering cosy and comfortable accommodation over two floors with wood burning stove, private garden, delightful rural views and close to numerous walks over Dartmoor and through the Avon Valley not to mention the beautiful South Devon Coastline approx. 25 minutes drive away. We are happy to accept a Terrier sized dog. Based in the Dartmoor National Park with lots of walks straight on the doorstep Little Badworthy is a cosy one bed refurbished cottage offering spacious, comfortable accommodation. The kitchen has an oven and hob, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment and washing machine. The sitting room has a wood burning stove for guests to enjoy on those colder evenings, a dining area, flat screen TV and DVD player. The bathroom has a fitted bath with shower over, pedestal wash basin and WC. We can provide a travel cot for babes in arms to include bedding if required. There is a garden adjacent to the cottage for guests to enjoy with picnic table and bench. A parasol is provided for shade. Guests are welcome to barbecue during summer months. We live immediately next door and are happy to help in any way if you should need it, but fully respect your privacy Living on the southern edge of Dartmoor is an absolutely privilege. We are so spoilt here enjoying the wildlife, wonderful countryside walks and direct access to the whole of the open moorland which is Dartmoor! Guest will be able to visit numerous historical market towns as well as explore our beautiful South Devon coastline. Access to Little Badworthy by car is so easy, we are about 10 minutes from the A38 which also provides an excellent road network to the rest of the South Hams. We have plenty of parking here too You will no doubt notice whilst staying, there will be sights and sounds that you are not accustom to, because we are a working farm our animals do like to let us know of their presence from time to time. Living in a rural location we have no light pollution, you will experience the beautiful clear night skies and also hear the wonderful bird song at dusk and dawn.
