Relax and enjoy the Whitehouse Cabin an Eco Cabin situated amongst the Banksia forest at Couran Cove resort on South Stradbroke island. Located a short walk from the resort pools, pristine white sand beach, sports centre, restaurants , it makes it very easy to relax or enjoy the many activities on offer at Couran Cove Resort. Native wildlife right outside your door. The only requirement is for you to RELAX, BREATHE and spend quality time with your family and friends! You’ll love the tri-level Eco Cabin that is designed to have a minimal impact on nature, within tree canopied pockets and built to access the cooling sea breezes, with cross ventilation and natural airflow. (Website hidden by Airbnb) Gas fireplace Nice wooden balcony with table and 6 chairs placed on the fully screened verandah Microwave, gas cook rings, Air fryer oven, toaster, kettle, coffee machine (with complimentary tea and coffee for you to enjoy) and medium size fridge/freezer in the cabin. Pots, pans, cutlery and crockery all there to use. As mentioned, complimentary coffee, tea, sugar & toilet paper is provided. Should you run out, you can purchase more at the resort’s little grocery shop or bring additional items. Iron, ironing board, hairdryer in the cabin. Bath towels, bed linen provided. Please bring own beach/pool towels. Towels must not be taken out of the cabin. BYO food and drinks to make it a cheaper holiday. There is a general store selling limited goods too. As mentioned, COMPLIMENTARY coffee pods, tea, sugar & toilet rolls are provided. If you run out then you can purchase additional items at the resort’s shop. Whitehouse Cabin is available to rent privately through the host, but you as our guest will still have full use of all the Resort Facilities on offer. As a Whitehouse Cabin guest you have full access to all of the Resort facilities and activities on offer. - Kayaks and paddle boards to use in the lagoon, Inflatables world all included for $10 each per day. - Bikes available through the resort to hire. - Plenty to do for all ages. Games room at the resort with table tennis, pool table, gaming consoles and lots more -Large resort style pool and separate 25m lap infinity pool. With plenty of sun loungers, chairs and tables to use. Pool bar/restaurant so the adults can enjoy a drink while the kids play. - 22km of pristine beaches to explore. - Walk, bike ride, boat/jetski ride or get a water taxi to Tipplers Café Bar for the beach Bar with Live entertainment and Big Beach Parties most busy weekends. - Corona bar open from 4pm to 7pm for sunset drinks. - Bring the fishing gear, fish in the lagoon, surf beach or the Broadwater. - Watersports such as jetboat ride, cruises up the Broadwater, jet skis, etc. on offer through the resort. - 2 Cafes and Bars available throughout the resort to Eat and drink out. - Lots of fun free kids activities organised, such as, family soccer, aqua aerobics, water polo, craft, pool games, etc. See Couran Cove website for details. -Also a Day Spa, offering lots of relaxation. Unfortunately it is unlikely that we will meet our guests in person as we do not live on the island however we are happy to answer any questions our guests may have to ensure they have the best experience we can offer. For any queries related to the resort, please contact reception at Couran Cove. Whitehouse Cabin is only accessible by boat, sea plane, jetski or helicopter. There is no bridge connecting to the main land. Check-in time is at 2pm and check-out time is at 10am. Bookings essential for the Ferry through Couran Cove Reception or online through their website. Accomodation Rates do not include Ferry or Boat fees. $30 per adult Return, $15 per child Return. Note Bookings essential. Can get booked up in peak times. Private boat taxi also available through Broadwater Taxi or Cove water taxi. (Approx $80 each way for 6 passengers)
