Enjoy a holiday, long weekend, romantic break or even a business related stay in beautiful cadgwith. With the beach on your doorstep (literally 10 steps away!) enjoy a walk around the coast to see the amazing views Cornwall has to offer :) perfect for business or pleasure, couples or singles! Please check the 'other things to note' and all other information in the listing for more details about our lovely flat and location :) We are located in one of Cornwall's most beautiful fishing villages! Enjoy fresh fish and crab caught locally and sold at The Old Cellars Cafe next door! There are many coastal walks right on the doorstep- Poltesco, Kennack, Devils Frying pan, Coverack, or The Lizard (the most Southerly point in the UK) We tend to stay in the background but if there is anything visitors need, even ice for their drinks we are usually down in the cafe! Or we are always the other end of the phone if needed! We feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful place like cadgwith! Right next to the beach, the local pub and our wonderful little cafe The Old Cellars! Everyone is so friendly and helpful :) we would love to share this part of Cornwall with visitors to show how lovely Cadgwith is! So many amazing walks and views! Please note that cadgwith is a small unique location with limited parking in the cove itself. We are very lucky to have the large carpark as described about 300yards away but please just be aware that this is located up the hill. The scenic route is a narrow footpath down past the cottages. We feel so lucky to be able to share this beautiful location with our guests! It is recommended that you have a car while staying in Cadgwith as it’s so much easier to get around! But it’s not essential as there is a bus service that runs from the close local village Ruan Minor which is about a 10 min walk away! There is also a local taxi man who offers a taxi service ‘Nutty Noah’s Taxis’ - Licenced to carry 6 Passengers, Airport & Luggage drops and pickups, Local Guided Tours of Cadgwith, The Lizard & Surrounding area (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) EXTRA COVID PROTOCOL - During this time we are asking that our lovely guests can do a few extra things to help keep us all safe. We are asking the following on day of DEPARTURE- - Please leave the windows open. - Please place the rubbish outside (tying the sack up). - Under the sink you will find another black sack to put all used bed linen and towels (etc) and again, please knot the bag. Thank you so much for all the cooperation! There is a carpark located about 300 yards from The Loft so don't worry about having to find somewhere to park! Enjoy the beautiful scenic route and view into the cove on the footpath. The carpark (if you have the beach on your left while in the cove) is up the hill through the pillars, just up the road on the right, signposted. If you were to go up the other side of the cove you would end up back in Ruan minor village with the local shop on your left. The carpark is £3 per day or £15 per week. Although if your lucky, or depending on the time of year, you may be able to park in the cove itself. But please make sure you don't park on the fisherman's slip (top of the beach) and also make sure your not blocking anyone in and the working tractor can get past. Also we have a pound meter in the flat that we put money in for our guests but depending if it’s a longer stay/ how much electric you use it may need to be topped up! The wonderful log burner in the lounge offers warmth on those cold winter nights- we put in a starter bag of wood for our guests but again depending on the length of the stay and how much you use the fire this may also need to be topped up- the local shops offer bags of logs so it’s easy to find! (Ruan minor or mullion). The starter bag of logs is put in the flat throughout the winter months but not during the summer. There is a recycling bag located in the porch area (door off the kitchen). And bin bags, depending on your length of stay can be put next door in the cafe large Wheely bin :) If it is out of season for the cafe or closed, just pop it in the entrance and pop me a message and I'll get it sorted :) Also a little something else to consider, due to our beautiful location and area sometimes the WiFi can drop in and out or be a weaker connection to what some are used to! But being right by the coast this can effect it sometimes :)
