We are 2 doors from the Bowls Club This Studio Apartment has water views from the front balcony along with beautiful sea breezes nothing would be better than enjoying a cool drink or a cuppa out on the patio. We have a breezeway separating the studio from the main house. It has full kitchen lounge bedroom bathroom with great shower. Wifi aircon/heating and ceiling fans. The kangaroos lay on the front lawn and graze on the grass. It is a very peaceful place to relax and unwind for a holiday. We are set on a suburban lot with the studio apartment separate from the home divided by a breezeway. Ocean views and sea breezes from the patio in fact from the entire studio. You are welcome to roam the garden as you will most likely find us in the garden. We live on the premises and love meeting new people we are both retired and here to assist you with all your needs. We are often sitting on our deck having a cuppa or a nice refreshing drink and always welcome a chat. Woodgate is a beautiful little seaside village very peaceful and very friendly people ready to help anyone who needs it. At the north end of Woodgate we have the Woodgate Hotel with great entertainment and great meals with a courtesy bus that will pick you up from here and drop you back when you like. 2 doors from us we have the Woodgate Bowls Club with equal entertainment and great meals. The Caravan Park half way along the Esplanade has a great coffee shop that serves Breakfast/Lunch & Dinner everyday called Serenity Cove. We have a Hardware store just as you drive into Woodgate you will see it on your left and just past that we have the supermarket with everything you could think of for sale. Also next to that we have the chemist and Doctors surgery. We have the Rural fire brigade and Emergency Service ready to help when needed. 16 kilometres of pristine beaches for fishing boating kayaking swimming walking and 4 wheel driving on. You could walk the beach some days and not see another sole. If you drive north in Woodgate and go past the hotel keep driving and you will come to Theodolite Creek great for swimming fishing boating paddle boarding hire. Also at the South end of Woodgate take the main road and you will end up at a little fishing village called Walkers Point and there you can picnic and look across to the township of Burrum Heads. We are 50minutes to Bundaberg and 25minutes to Childers which has a Woolworths for stocking up. You will need a car if you are staying as there is no public transport. Nearest town is Childers which is about 20min by car away. Bundaberg is a large rural town 50minutes from Woodgate. If you are wanting to have dinner at the Woodgate Hotel the north end of town they have a free bus that will pick you up and drop you back when you are ready. Hervey Bay is an hour away driving south you can do boat charters to Frazer Island and also Whale watching (Season is from July-November). We also have 2 other islands out from Bundaberg Lady Elliot & Lady Musgrave Islands which you can do day trips on charter boats or scenic flights. We have quite a few Wineries around the Childers area for your enjoyment. We live on the property with our 4 legged girl Suzie. Suzie is a Maltese X she was a rescue dog and we love her dearly.
